Bender (albeit at 18) has even less moves than Len inside the arc.

Yes, as long as our mission is clear, you know, like advertising BMW while showing a pic of a Mercedes.

Well I certainly hope our #5 pick from 3 years ago who has played in the nba for three years has more moves than Bender.

I'm not sure how this board will react if Mission Accomplished = Jamal Murray.

I think it's a big possibility if we're outside the top 2.

Maybe it's that wink/wink "Len, we will give you the max deal after rookie contract, if...."

That speculation was WAY too premature. He isn't anywhere near that caliber

It's been mentioned a few times...I mean a McD likes Kentucky guards and he is pretty much ranked in the 3-5 group.

No, but it will be a tough position to be in. It's easy for you to say..."hey we should have Gobert instead" but if we have worked with this guy for 4 years, and he is up for contract and someone else offers him a fairly hefty deal, do you give all that up? Will he never get there? Do you think he is a lost cause for the long run? I know you are not high on him, but would you open the door right now and let him walk out and just that's it?

Because what many people don't realize when they talk about guys being overpaid is that if they were not overpaid that those teams lose them and have nothing and no real replacement ready.

I'd be OK with it if we line up trades for Bledsoe and Knight in exchange for your talented front court players.

LOL. Kieff found his Suns jersey in the Wiz locker room as an April Fools joke. That sure lit a fire under him

Yeah, the wiz feed showed the jersey hanging earlier.

He had a great first quarter, probably sat too long in the second and got cold and lost the rythm of the game

bwgood77 wrote:I can understand Booker going 6-22 with a bunch of outside shots, but how does Len go 1-10? I swear this guy shoots sub 500 for a few games and then will put up a monster offensive game. Hopefully he is purely because he is in on the tank.

He misses a lot of layups because instead of taking it up strong with a dunk he'll try and finesse it and go for a layup instead and since he is a bit thin still he gets pushed around a bit.

Since this season is a wash anyway I am not opposed to him trying different moves on offense but next season I think he should bulk up and learn how to finish within 5 feet and the outside jumpers can come later.

Very Freudian article about Markieff having trust issues.

The same way we reacted with Devin Booker probably.

That is exactly what I was thinking last night, but I didn't want to be a homer and rationalize simple poor shooting. For the record, I hate when coaches do that, he definitely had an early rhythm, starting 4 of 6......with a foul not being called. He gets no love from the refs.

Booker made Wall look silly in the first quarter. I was at the game. It looked like Wall took it personally. He absolutely wore Booker like a shirt the rest of the game and they constantly double teamed Booker at the three point line. They would not have been able to do that if there was another three point threat out there. Ronnie Price works hard on D, and he handles the ball fairly well, but his outside shot gets no respect whatsoever. PJ doesn't really either. All he ever lines up for is the corner three and they usually casually defend him there.

Teletovic is playing for a contract. He worked hard all night, but hogged the ball often and took MANY questionable shots and made many questionable passes.

Len has alot of decent moves inside, he just misses the basket. He should dunk more. Len's 15 footer is really good. I would be as comfortable with him shooting that as anyone on the team.

As much as I ragged on PJ this year. He was in the middle of everything when he was on the court. He was playing tough D, jumping with the bigs and scoring in the paint. Toward the end of the game I was trying to figure out why PJ's uni was so much darker than everyone else's. Turns out he was drenched in sweat, no one else was.
