Haha no doubt Kansas does a good job recruiting, although I am disappointed he chose UA over us. I just have anti-UA embedded in my DNA, the majority of my family is huge on ASU so sometimes I hope the good local prospects will choose ASU so I can watch them in person/spurn UA for a change, which pretty much never happens lol (especially this year with Ayton and Barcello both going to UA).

Then again, Kansas did bring in a kid out of Gilbert Christian from the 2016 class so I guess I can't be too mad. I remember when we brought in Royce Woolridge from Sunnyslope too, I was pretty hyped to see him until he didn't leave the bench and transferred to Washington State.

Kid is a special talent. Two years ago when he was 16 years old Ayton dropped 17 pts/18 rbs in an exhibition game victory vs UNC. Keep in mind UNC was arguably the best team in the country last year.

Yeah, Markkanen was a HELL of a find too, if he stays for his soph year AND Ayton is eligible to play in NCAA... DAMN
Hopefully he wont pull a "Ferguson" on us.

I'd be a little surprised if he stayed after this year if he lives up to his hype. Mike Schmitz at DX already thinks that he has a shot at being a Top 5 pick in the 2017 draft.

Don't think Lauri goes that high, but hoping for at least late lottery. So stoked about the possibility of having a Finnish lottery pick, considering our "stellar" NBA run record:

If Lauri is around for two years something went wrong. I think Trier is gone and Lauri plus Rawle (who barely qualified) are 1 & done. Ray Smith depending on how well he comes back from injury could leave too. Ristic would likely declare or go back overseas with Ayton coming in.

That would leave PJC, Simmons (hopefully), Comanche and a tranfer or two plus incoming recruits DeAndre Ayton and Alex Barcello. UA would need to hope Smith comes back or get another 5* wing or two. Arizona is in the mix for several of those guys.
