I'm willing to play other leagues, too. I understand the concept of dynasty league. Is there a difference to keepers league ?

Keeper is usually like 3-4 keepers and then the rest are redrafted. Dynasties are more like you keep every single player you draft in the first year every year after that. Or at least most of them. TASTIC knows more about this and actually writes articles on it on some website I think.

I would be interested in either Keeper or Dynasty if we can get like 12 teams. I just think its a really interesting concept and we have a lot of guys who are perennial fantasy players here so it shouldn't be hard to get the teams filled. :dontknow:

I'd rather do keeper. Dynasty sounds KIND of interesting because you are almost like a REALGM and you have to manage a team, make trades, pick up people on waivers, etc...I don't know how the draft works...probably the same way the real draft does, but it likely takes place before the real draft.

I can look into that.

Speaking of keeper leagues, I am joining a 20 team football one and have to pick 4 keepers by tonight. Can you chime in on this thread and last post? viewtopic.php?f=139&t=1475266&start=36#start_here

Any other fantasy football gurus chime in as well.

Replied. I can help run the Keeper league if you would like too. I also think Auction draft, as previously mentioned, would be a good way to kick it off.

Sounds good. I've never done auction but seems most fair for keeper. If someone REALLY wants someone, they gotta pay.

The whole Keeper/Dynasty Auction League is incredibly enticing. I would play Fantasy Basketball again in that scenario. Deal me in boys.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

KJG, can you update who will be in Premier this year with Klay Time, Nevetsov, and CK moving down, DRK and Gaspar not playing, and me, Safety Pickle, b-ball forever, Kop Legend, and Maystack moving up? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that The Boogie Monster is KD354MVPBOI.

Do you know who Lion Eating Poets is? Looks like they get to move up too.

I'm always keen for dynasty. But that obviously means only active people who will keep playing year after year even if their team/keepers suck...Don't want people pulling out cos they blew their dynasty wad on Andrew Wiggins in the 1st round like one guy did in the last one I was in!

We'd need to sort out a few rules too and make sure it's something that can keep going. Best way for dynasty start-ups as I mentioned before is auction draft and then keep a max of $100 'worth' of players at the end of each season. Of course if you hate your team you can keep that $100 for the actual draft instead. If there's enough interest in here I'll start a new thread and we'll get this thing rolling as auction you obviously need a live draft and knowing how diverse the Suns board is, there'll be people all over the world in it.

If I'm going to run a keeper/dynasty one then someone else will need to take the lead for the premier draft.

KJG - you reckon you can run it mate? I know you're not a Suns fan (can't be perfect) but you're always active, especially in fantasy too. Draft order is easy, I can get everyone's emails and send it out through fantasy toolbox. That's if Kerrsed isn't keen to run it again?

Also - I've got a keeper league H2H team I'm keen to 'move on from' as I took over it as a favour for a friend and I hate H2H...My 3 keepers are LeBron, Millsap and Paul George, so the core is pretty damn good and came 2nd last year. Anyone who's keen to take it over PM me and I'll sort it out! It's a really active league, the one guy who did jack last season has already been replaced.

That's me, as adressed in some other posts/ threads.

Got the spot in the last day, as I was in 5th by half a point due to a tie in FT% that got me an extra half point in the last round.

Speaking of CBA, we may need someone else to run that one and set up thread. alvin adams had said he would do it but he got suspended on the NBA general board the other night and thought it was me although I was trying to prevent it...anyway, he wasn't happy and left. Hopefully he will be back but who knows.

Not sure if I've replied or not, but I'm out this year. The Yahoo! fantasy app stuffed my early season line-ups and I really lost interest after that. Have fun and GL all.

I think the original plan last year was to relegate the bottom 3 from Premier and promote 2 from the D-League so the league returned to a 12 team size?

Final Results - team name / forum name / returning?
1. Tyler Durden's Club = Ulquiorra Yes
2. Wild Wild Westbrook = DRK No
3. KJG = Kobe>Jordan>God Yes
4. Squad Goals = Superhuman Yes
5. Biz Markieff = Kerrsed ?
6. Road House = Tastic Yes
7. Nothing Easy = Zero Tolerance Yes
8. Washington Generals = Wheezy Yes
9. Gaspar = Gaspar No
10. Sunskerr FBC = sunskerr Yes
11. Klay Time = Miami4Ever relegated (?)
12. Nevetsov = Nevetsov relegated (No)
13. CK Remy Cerys = Calvin Klein relegated (Yes)

so this becomes
1. Ulquiorra Yes
2. Kobe>Jordan>God Yes
3. Superhuman Yes
4. Kerrsed ?
5. Tastic Yes
6. Zero Tolerance Yes
7. Wheezy Yes
8. sunskerr Yes
9. bwgood77 promoted (Yes)
10. Safety Pickle promoted (?)
11. B-Ball forever promoted (Yes)
12. Kop Legend promoted (Yes)

13. Maystack promoted??? (Yes)

All right, I'll be temporary commissioner until Kerrsed show up or somebody else from the Suns board wants to take over.

Is Miklo still around, or did he retire?

I thought 13 was perfect last year. It's too easy if it's just 12. Every team would be stacked. I guess we could vote in a poll. I know b-ball forever likes more and Kerrsed liked less, and it was between 14 and 12 last year so we compromised in the middle. I can't find Kerrsed. I PM'd him weeks ago and sent him a message through twitter today. TASTIC told me Kerrsed has to open the league on yahoo or we lose all the history so hopefully he comes around soon.

I'm fine with 13, but anything more is too big.

Has Safety Pickle checked in yet?
I'll send him a reminder PM.
