Turnovers also benefit the lazy and uninvolved fantasy players (hopefully we don't have any in a dynasty league). People who forget to set their lineups or lose interest in their team mid-season will end up benefiting the most from the turnover category. That is one of the biggest reasons we decided to take turnovers out of all of the other leagues. It's a horrible stat to use in fantasy

Settled then. No turnovers. About administration of the league, we could do it in a rotation system. Every player does it for one season.

I'd do it this one since no one is stepping up, but I don't know ESPN nor have ever done something similar. So there would be growing pains, which is risky since we are short on time.

Any other volunteers?

Well I said I'd do it and do it in espn as I have run a lot of leagues there.

Awesome. Had the feeling you were only filling a need so was willing to give you a break.

So...do it then ?

If you want you can Co-Commish so you can see the options you have and can take care of anything if I'm not around and for some reason something needs to be taken care of. And I'll let you enter draft results! :D

Alright, sounds like we are good to go. Are we at 16 teams now? Let's get this party started.

I just realized I forgot Calvin Klein in my original list, but he was the last one who made a post saying he was interested

Calvin Klein wrote:Also interested in Dynasty!

So, people who have confirmed are:

MathiasPW
TASTIC
kennydorglas
wordsenuff
Phystic (I think?)
KopLegend
MrMiyagi
Kerrsed
Qwigglez
Ulquiorra
edurham88
NTB

So, since Calvin Klein posted yesterday, I'll add him, and then me, which makes 14, and then we still need confirmation from:

bwgood77 wrote:OK, so for Dynasty interest we have:

WeekapaugGroove wrote:Id be in on a dynasty league.

Zero Tolerance wrote:I would be interested in either Keeper or Dynasty if we can get like 12 teams. I just think its a really interesting concept and we have a lot of guys who are perennial fantasy players here so it shouldn't be hard to get the teams filled. :dontknow:

I just didn't see a post since I had quoted everyone who had said they had interest and some of those posts were weeks ago, so I wanted to make sure everyone was around since we need to move fairly quickly.

So that's 15 if you count me and TASTIC. Qwigglez only would do it if yahoo, but he would have made 16. Phystic is somewhat interested depending on details (stated in another post).

If auction, we'd have to do a live draft, which seems impossible given that people are spread out all over the world, so it would have to be snake draft.

We also HAVE to have really active participants and people have to draft fairly quickly as the season starts in only a couple of weeks. We would have to shorten the time to make your pick and make sure some email me. Some of the above would take a while sometimes. If you are going to sleep and are within the next 7 or 8 picks, it's best to send a list to someone.

As I mentioned before, if someone else wants to run it, and do it in yahoo, I'm all for that, as I already run quite a few fantasy leagues and have to do stuff on the forums here, and yes, a real job too. But I will run it on espn if there is enough interest (which is where I run all the fantasy leagues I run). I'm not sure if I missed anyone, so if there was anyone else, respond here.

Can everyone PM TASTIC their email address and he will generate the draft order in a couple of hours or whenever he gets them all. Then we can start the draft.

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Everyone else send me your email address ASAP. It's 1210pm Wednesday here in NZ, so if you want a good future let me know because right now I can tell you it'll be hot in Phoenix ;)

Basically need the last 3 within the next hour or so if we want it sent soon. If not, will either go out when I get home in 5-6hr or the following morning, which nobody wants!

I'm in. PM sent.

Question:

So if we can trade players for future picks, what happens if we have too many come the draft? We have 13 man roster. Keep 8. So 5 picks every year, if I end the year with 6 players am I forced to trade or drop a player to make room on the roster?

I've never done this just trying to understand these little intricacies
