Yeah, when healthy he's easily a top 10 player in the game right now. He was literally carrying that team to wins with a bunch of crappy players by himself. They were playing tough against good teams.

If I could ensure Embiid would stay healthy I'd take him. I take booker since Embiid has averaged 10 games a season.

Embiid annoys me. Reminds me of the Lakers center who became a bowler. Booker for sure.

Except Embiid actually seems to like basketball.

Health concerns out the door, its Embiid in a landslide.

I'd take healthy Embiid over Booker but Embiid is not healthy and probably never will be so Booker.

Booker over all the big men.

Big men Are not as valuable anymore, it's a guard/ sf driven league.

Solid guards, especially PG's are dime a dozen in this modern league, so an elite big man with range and versatility like a KAT, Embiid, AD, Jokic and even Cousins are still highly sought after.

Are they? There are a lot of very good guards because the rules favor that position over the big men that used to dominate the game. Every team wishes they had 2 or 3 very good guards, there may seem like a lot of them but there's actually a shortage when compared to needs.

Traditional big men, with average defense are not as valuable anymore. But Embiid is the whole package.

Dirk Nowitzki, arguably Tim Duncan (Kawhi won the MVP).

Absolutely. Compared to above average big men, there are far more solid guards. The game has fast evolved into a PG oriented game while the talent of the big men positions (PF and C) are still playing catch up in terms of playing at this new pace/style. 5 years ago, Dirk, Bosh and Love were probably the only mobile, versatile big men with range in the top 20 best paid bigs. The rest of that list was still dominated by the Dwight Howards, Al Jeffersons, Amare's, ZBo's and Pau Gasols.

Don't get me wrong, just because there are more solid guards than there are solid big men, doesn't mean you could easily field a team with them. These days teams regularly play guards from the 1 to the 3 while SF's of the past have evolved into the versatile PF we see today. The skills of the guards are far more valued by teams these days then there were back in the day whereas the back to basket games of the big men are being being less utilised.

Embiid is more skilled now after just his "rookie" season than Bynum ever was.

I still take Booker because of the injury concerns.

In that case I'd like to see it done for Kemba Walker.

Just face the fact that Devin is King here.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Or at least the Crown Prince, being prepped for the throne when he comes of age. I know there are many non-believers, some of them are even Suns fans, but it's clear the organization thinks he's special. And I'm convinced they're right, frankly I could care less that some fans feel there are equal or greater young prospects out there. I'm more than willing to watch us go to battle with Devin leading the way.
