The Suns are so slow to react to loose balls. The ball has to bounce around for a whole 10 seconds before they notice it

Bridges is legit impressive when he plays with confidence. Love to see it. Keeping us alive.

Bridges bailing out Book and Oubre. Great game so far for him. Good to see the Suns fight.

We're dramatically short-handed and short-sized facing arguably NBA's currently most powerful team.
And we're fighting and still not dead.

I have no major complaints. Guys are doing their best and there's even some funny moments.

I shall not want.

Good game so far by Bridges, Cam, and Jerome.

Hoping Book wakes up a little in the 2nd half. We need to see more effort altogether scrambling for rebounds and loose balls. This is surprisingly still winnable. Hang around and then strike hard when they're not expecting it.

Of course we are losing because Rajon Rondo was perfect from the field, and made 3 3s. It's also frustrating that AD and especially LeBron can do layups no matter who is inside...not fast break. Just a lay up after backing up. LeBron might be the guy who, inside, most reminds me of Shaq, just because he is so hard to stop. Of course if we had Ayton in there it would help immensely.

I am also pleasantly surprised that the calls don't seem one sided. The LeBron travel was the only one that really sticks out in my mind. The Lakers have complained about a lot of non calls where they probably could have made calls on stuff that could have gone either way. They seem to be mostly letting them play.

I'm glad we stuck so well with them early despite Booker not shooting well and Oubre hasn't done much. Our bench unit man....I know we talked about Oubre coming off the bench but I don't think anyone was thinking of him having to play with that unit.

I feel pretty good overall about how we've played and would probably be right there even without Booker hitting anything if Rondo wasn't knocking down 3s and being perfect from the field.

Well we have bench guys of Baynes, Saric and Kaminsky out. We are playing our 3rd string C. Seemed like he played the whole 1st quarter and started the 2nd for a while. Our bench would be fine if it was Jerome or one of the other PGs, one of our starters subbing in and out, Cam, Saric and Baynes...or Kaminsky in there.

Nice defense by Cam and steal by Rubio! Leads to Cam corner 3!

Love the hustle. Actually have a chance to win this one. Still need Booker and Oubre to wake up.

Damn, Lakers tried hard for the Suns to take the lead. A lot of good looks, a lot of bricks.

Defense has been really good, aside not being able to rebound in the 1st half.

Was just a matter of time LA would go on their run. We're not good enough to make shots consistently and we're too sloppy.
A better team is beating LA by double digits right now.

Damn, we had it to 6 for so long and neither team could make anything...too bad some of those shots didn't go down. Cam was out of bounds once...I think everyone in there missed a shot. Luckily the Lakers were missing...some fairly easy ones, but of course they hit some now. It's crazy we play the Lakers, the biggest team in the NBA easily, without Ayton, Baynes, Saric and Kaminsky. Basically our first 2 Cs and PFs. Considering that, I feel pretty good about the effort, especially since Booker and Oubre haven't gotten going.

Maybe a couple Booker free throws will get him going. Well, he misses. Maybe not.
