3-21 from three while a 54% three point shooter rots on the bench.

This board is hilarious. You’re upset about losing a game with 4 of your starters out on a B2B ON THE ROAD against a hungry team that has two of their best players back?

They're shooting 28% from the field. That's atrocious. They may as well have brought in some dudes from the local gym to play tonight because we'd probably have the same output.

Payne can go. Shamet can go with him. Williams is once again sitting there, hands under his seat, looking absolutely lost. BREAK YOUR COOL, dude! Show some actual emotion beyond calm and passive. This team needs some fire right now and that starts at the top.

We should NOT have sat anyone. All this will serve to do is give the Clippers energy and drive to bury us in the first round if they get the chance. If we draw them and lose, it would be an utterly monumental failure.

Our only hope is that MEM gets them and knocks them out.

With this kinda performance, I wonder if the Clips tank that play in game in order to win the 2nd game and get us....

Obviously a VERY risky move, but Lue isn't above tanking to get the match-up he wants.

Yes. Getting tuned up by 30 is embarrassing no matter how many starters are out. We're supposed to be one of the best teams in the league and well rounded. We don't look like that tonight. We look like pretenders and this is why people doubt us being able to get it done... just like last year.

This loss shouldn’t be surprising. We’re on a back to back, mostly nobodies are playing and we’re playing against a well coached and well rested Clippers team that’s almost at full strength minus Kawhi.

I just hope nobody gets injured.

I don’t understand why Bridges is playing so many minutes, I thought they’d pull him after 5 mins just so he can keep his consecutive starts streak going.

Only thing that is embarrassing though is that this what the Suns should’ve done to the Grizzlies in the last matchup when Suns played full starters and Grizzlies had their JV team out there similar to the Suns today. Grizzlies didn’t just keep it close, they won.

On a positive note, this same Clipper team beat MIL by like 40 on the road when they pulled their starters so....I guess that's a good thing?

Can't see him doing that in a 1 game playoff situation.

It's natural to be worried about the Clippers, but while they would be a tough out, we should be able to take care of a Kawhi-less Clippers team in 5 or 6 hard fought games.

Clippers have been absolutely amazing.

Sending a clear message to the Suns in a first round series.

All of that depth the Suns have? Means absolutely nothing in a series vs. the Clippers. The Clippers wings turn any advantage the Suns have upside down.

All we can hope for now is that the Clips beat Minny. I just don't see us beating these guys now that they have Powell and George playing well. And if KL comes back, I just don't think we are tough enough.

But he is right. We all thought we had a super deep team, and without our big three, we just aren't ready. We should be playing much better than this. I can understand us losing the game because of who we don't have, but they still don't have their best player, and we can't even run an offense, and we are doing much better on defense. We need shooting right now, and Monty goes with Elf.

if he were making any plans for the play in based on this game, he is really rolling the dice here. plus the pelicans swept the Clippers this season so there is no guarantee that tanking will work out.

I don't think the Clips would risk tanking when a loss to the 9/10 winner could knock them out completely. Anything could happen in 1 game. An off shooting night, a hot night by the other team, etc.

They may of course simply lose, but I don''t think it will be for a lack of trying.

I really hate this attitude. Not a fan.

What attitude? You expect me to pay money to go watch a game featuring Cam Payne and Landry Shamet as the main guys?

If you wanna buy me the tickets then yeah I’ll put the attitude aside and go next time.

I'm talking about sitting our starters. Silver even said recently that he doesn't like that trend.

They didn't have Powell, but they had Kennard, and Covington shot 11-18 threes.
