I like Deng. Not for $12 million. Maybe $10 million. But hey, whats $2 million to the owners. I'd rather have Hayward, but Deng is a solid player and does everything you ask him to do + some.

People can look at PER rating and per36 numbers and say Tucker is cheaper and similair player, but you're kidding yourself if you think Tucker nets more wins than Deng as our starter.

Then just trade Morrisx2 + Goodwin + Lakers 1st + Suns 1st for Kevin Love and Kevin Martin (assuming he agrees to re-sign).

Bledsoe/Ennis
Dragic/Martin/Bogdan
Deng/Green
Love/Warren
Plumlee/Len

I'd be down. Solid team with shooters, defense, grit, and someone who can rebound.

You just gave up a majority of our assets.

For a 24 year old PF who averages 24/13 and can stretch the floor and a SG (6th man) who comes off the bench and can score the ball.

I WANT TO SEE A FLURRY OF ACTIVITY ON OUR END NOW!!! lol

I don't care if it's resigning players and sitting still. I want to know what McD's plan B has been...

There is no one we sign at this point that makes us Championship contenders or even gets us out of the first round. Not interested in tying up money in those types, rather continue to develop our young guys and wait till the trade deadline or next off season to upgrade based on how this year plays out. Dont need to make a move just for the sake of making a move.

That trade wouldn't work anyway. We will likely be under the cap, but not by enough to send out like $5 million in salaries and take back like $22 million. Wouldn't really need Martin, or if they insisted we could include Deng (if we get him).

Deng you can at least get him for $10-$11 million. And Deng is no scrub. He's a very very very good player in the NBA. Some injury concerns, but he's tough and does everything you need him to do.

I'm fine with Deng for 1-2 year deal, but not so much 3-4 years.

Deng is 29. wtf? Why would you not want him for 3-4 years. And he's just as good as a defender as Tucker. Averages almost 2 steals per game.
exactly

27-33 yrs old are players prime years. It's not like he is 36-37 years old. And Deng is a former all-star too. Whomever wants tucker over Deng is just a homer. Tucker will never be an all-star...ever.

Lots of mileage and injury concern (missed 19 or more games 5 out of his 10 seasons), weak 3-pt shooter, ties up cap space for big FA next 2 years.

Interesting. I'm definitely the other way on this. Of course I'm a Suns fan, but at the same time I want to be able to respect and like the players as well. A guy just tossing on a Suns uniform does not cure all ills for me.

Personally never wanted a guy like James in the first place, so him apparently not coming here is great news to me. We have a nice young team which is fun to watch as it stands, there are other and better things awaiting this team I believe.

I'm OK with Deng or gasol but let's be realistic with the contracts that have been tossed around this off season both guys will be VERY expensive. I think deng is an "old" 29, he came into the league young and tibs has played him a ton of minutes the last 5 yrs.

Can pass the ball.

I still think the perfect fit for Gasol is OKC or Chicago

But I am open to him. Haven't seen a better option in terms of price, contract, etc after LeBron/Bosh idea.

But after that 2nd goal, they literally stopped playing defense... I could of kicked a goal during that 10 minute span where Brazil was just frozen/shocked.

Silva missing was HUGE because he was their brains down that end.

Well his best year was in his third year and he's been declining ever since, so he could be past his prime. But, there is a chance his shooting fell off a cliff the last two years because Derrick Rose wasn't around and he became the first option on offense, so there's that.

I agree. Deng at 10 maybe 11 to me makes more sense than Tucker at 5m

Windorst reminds me of drugged out Jonah Hill before Jonah Hill lost all that weight...I immediately change the channel when I see him getting ready to come on.

Gasol is soft and don't see him coming here unless we overpay which we probably will.

Deng.. I guess. Still bummed about Lebron. Don't think it's over either.

What big FA??? LeBron...Carmelo...Bosch...Irving??
These big FA are not "fighting" to play for us...even Love is not speaking about us like one of his better options.

The problem is ESPN. So awful. Unfortunately there aren't too many other alternatives. Once there is, bye, ESPN.
