Disagree with this logic. We can sign countless SF's for the minimum as good as a 40 year old Amare.

Wrong ... we have Warren as an unproven starter and a journeyman SF because there will not be much left for us. Tucker gives us three point shooting and Amare is still an offensive threat off the bench. Plus he is only 32 and put up 11.5 pts and 5.6 rbds in 21 minutes last year.

Nothing to indicate that LMA has agreed to meet with Miami, only that they want to meet with him. They are a longshot at best IMO.

I think we still have plenty of depth. Now Warren gets more time. It's not like Granger or Bullock EVER played.

Haven't be saying much in this, don't want to get caught up in the hype just to be let down, but if LMA were to come to Phoenix, I think PJ would be good to keep :o

A vomited a little in my mouth.

so meeting w the Knicks is cancelled not that he was a serious contender to go to the Knicks.

Heat have bosh, whiteside so playing time would be an issue

Doesn't want to play center at all which he would play center in san antonio I assume.

I still think we're in this and will get him.

He wants a good team w talent and good point guards that's us.
Wants a real center loves Chandler.
requested Bledsoe.

I'm a homer but I think we have a real shot

David Aldridge ‏@daldridgetnt 5m5 minutes ago

Knicks meeting was cancelled once it became clear NY wanted Aldridge to play center, something he is adamant against doing, per source.

Wrong. Kieff is unquestionably better than Tucker. He is only 25 and puts up way better numbers. His contract is also for 3 additional years.

Amare is a low-demand FA who is past his prime and putting up mediocre numbers on 1 side of the ball while remaining a disaster on the other. There are literally countless SF free agents I could list who are better than that/more complete players.

Good for us I think. We tend to have pretty good success on player visits.

Can we ask him to wait until like late September to visit?

Phoenix is a hell of a lot nicer than San Antonio though. Maybe Barkley can play golf with him and tell him how nice it will be for Phx to have some frontcourt presence...first time sense he played in Phx.

Tucker plays balls-out for 48 minutes ... Kief disappears in games.

If they are getting rid of tucker, then they are probably going hard for SF maybe? Or perhaps they are thinking of sliding Booker at SF for a bit.

I lived in that area before, San Antonio in July isn't paradise. 90 degrees and humid as FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

McD treating you like like the savage you are lol

Get rid of him. Trade him somewhere where he will hate it.

We can sign Amare for the min.

Marcus is going to love Detroit. Their fans are so crazy they throw cups of water on opposing players and start brawls.

Aldridge is, as Yahoo! reported, meeting a second time with the Lakers this afternoon, & will be meeting with Pat Riley in L.A., per source.

Meh. Sounds to me like a Hail Mary on Riley's part just to say that he left no stone unturned.

I'm so anxious to find our what happens is killing me. Considering that LMA doesn't want to play the center position makes me believe he won't play in SA and choose a younger team like us. and if this occurs there should be a McDonough statue outside of our arena. ;)
