it's like this: we know Bender has crazy potential. we know Chriss has crazy potential.

we weren't crazy about anyone we could've picked with 13, so how could we have done better without making this trade?

Chriss and Bender are on opposite ends of the spectrum. One is explosive and raw, one is huge, skilled and raw.

You figure one of them will pan out.

We could have not have done better......UNLESS we got Jimmy Butler, but nobody has him yet, so i'm not mad.

Love the draft so far.

I really didn't want Chriss at No 4. I thought that was too high. I didn't understand why we would even consider that when no one else had him that high on their board. Chriss at No 8 is fine.

I don't have to bet on either one. It just feels great. Maybe they'll push each other. Maybe they'll hate each other. Maybe they'll be roommates. I have no idea! It's the height of salivation. One might bust, but both? I doubt that. Not if we're as smart as we were in making this trade.

yes. thought Baldwin was better anyway. good.....did not think he'd slip to 17.

at this rate, Ellenson might fall to 34. oh man that would be the haul of the ages

This might be the draft that gets Ainge fired.

He still has 6 picks to go, already drafting stash players, and no trades announced, and drafted Jalen Brown which I personnaly think will be a bust

I dunno. He doesnt seem to handle or pass very well at all. Would take some major work to be a 3 i think. Maybe its nullified a bit with Bender being able to do those things

Can I play devils advocate and say we just spent a top 10 pick on a backup PF?

Honestly though I'll just be happy if one pans out to fill the starting PF void. Who knows, Bender might bulk up and be able to play C. The versatility is a great thing.

Training camp will be very interesting... Who wins the starting PF gig? Bender, Chriss, Warren, Teletovic, Len?
