I guess if the Kings don't want to sign the super max, they could trade him by the deadline. But that has to just really, really piss Boogie off. He is losing 50M. That is a LOT of money.

But I guess that it's not his decision. Boogie COULD screw the destination team. His agents won't go down without a fight.

Anyone else notice that he played only 2 minutes in the all-star game?

A lot of what they are telling people is just posturing to get better offers.

For example, if you are still talking to 5 teams, it would be very smart to tell them all it's down to two teams now and let all 5 teams freak out about not getting him and offering more.

It's the Harden trade all over again

If it's a team that the Kings get the the most assets out of and a team Boogie isn't keen on playing for, he could certainly screw them. But I think MOST GM's are smart enough not to pay full value if Boogie isn't keen on resigning with the new team. I also don't see many reasons Boogie would want to screw over a team just to screw over a team. If there's truly a team that wants to screw him, it's the Kings; out of that $50m

That's a crazy low offer. That pick is currently #9 and probably will be even lower next few seasons. And Buddy Hield...lol

Heild is the next Curry... and Ball is already better than Curry.

I'd suggest it'd be:

Picks - NO 2017, NO 2019
Young Players - Hield
Expirings - Holiday, Evans, Jones

And of course Cousins doesn't want to extend for $60m less!

My guess is that they might all meet up tomorrow and call it off and tell everyone they're happy.

He's either

a) Trying to get Boogie the supermax in Sac

b) Trying to get Boogie to a team on his list (aka not New Orleans)

I think Boogie would re-sign here due to Bledsoe.

There it is! Agents fighting back. Boogie has leverage. They want the 50M.

IF this is it.....we could easily beat that offer without sacrificing a whole lot.

I'd be insulted and offended if Kings took Buddy and two 1sts over our offer.
