I'm so glad we sat everyone in the final game so we wouldn't reveal our top-secret plans!
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Dude Monty is a **** idiot. He had Kevin **** Durant and just let him occupy the court.

I cannot believe he would do that to KD after we went undefeated.

Kawhi is just a force in the playoffs and Westbrook is going to create havoc too...they have some shooters as well (of course we do too). I think we should win game 2 fairly easily, though Westbrook could have a good shooting game and make it tough.

Lue will likely make a lot of adjustments along the way to outcoach Monty, but Monty of course has more talen ont so although tight, we should still take the series unless George comes back by game 6. I don't expect to win it in 5.

More talent than Lue has available? Where? When does it show up?

Well, KD and Kawhi are probably equal. Booker is far better than anyone else out there as is Paul. Their depth is better.

I always thought they were our toughest matchup if healthy and if they had George I didn't want to see him. I kind of wanted to play GS anyway, even with George out, because of the Clips wings and crazy defense. Plus the Warriors have been awful on the road.

But without George we have more star power. It's more even on star power with George there, and they have the better depth.

Kawhi always scares me more than any 1 player. He is one of five players in NBA history to score more in the playoffs than in the regular season. And usually more efficiently. That's very tough to do considering your SOS is considerably tougher.

The thing is, all of the Clippers role players know their role, know how to contribute to that role and impacts the game the way they know how.

We just never know what we're going to get from our role guys. Is Shamet going to have a good game? What does Ish do? Is Biyombo going to be playable for long stretches? Is TJ even going to play?

That's the big difference between Monty and Lue, roles and expectations are set for Lue's guys and they deliver when their names are called. I feel like we're still trying guys out under Monty to see what they got from a game to game basis

Well considering KD got Atkinson fired in Brooklyn, I doubt he comes here at all.

That was Kancerie doing his thing and KD playing along. *IF* we hired Myers and he wanted Atkinson, then I'm sure Durant will go along and get along fine with him. He was injured that entire year anyway.

Though, as I've said numerous times, my preference is a Ime/Presti combo.

phnart wrote:When this Clippers win this series, I'm guessing James Jones and Monty get fired. I wish this was just sour grapes after a bitterly disappointing Suns loss, but like all of you, I saw a Suns team that was not prepared to play and clearly didn't have an answer for the Clippers defense. Like we saw with Dallas last year, a superior coach has his team ready to do the dirty work and play together.

Sure, the Suns haven't been together for long. Sure, they have a center who got his bag and that put out whatever competitive fire we have seen in previous playoffs. Sure, D-Book coughed it up at the end. And one more "sure"... they sure didn't show any of us that they can take a punch, even with Durant here now.

I don't even want to get into the fact that it will be very hard to improve this team next year, but this so-called championship contender looks more like hype-machine 2023 than anything else. What a pile of sh*t. I can't say, "eff this team" because I love them, but I can say that I don't believe in them right now and I sincerely hope they prove me wrong.

CP with a 2for9 38 minutes. They were mugging him up to an ineffective level. I dont give a s hit about his assists. Hes a blow by on D and just not a shot maker anymore. He and Mann are going to scrap it out before this series is over

Didnt really like that last shot by book. Why not jack the trey… even if you miss you got a long rebound opportunity. I hate that go for two down by three chit

That **** would be magic. Just watch Presti split Ayton into two role players and Ime having those two extra players to work with in his adjustments.

''For three seasons, anyway. Under Jackson, the Warriors won 23 games, then 47, then 51. He got them to two postseason appearances. Stephen Curry blossomed on Jackson’s watch. So naturally, on May 6, 2014 the Warriors showed Jackson the door. Talk about taking a risk."

Even if we win this series, we've just extended it by at least 1 game, likely 2 because I doubt the Clips get swep at home. We've got two geezers who don't need this level of taxation in round **** 1.

Slim anything would be better than Monty. Just realize that in the entire fourth quarter he basically ignored KD.

Monty would rather play Shamet 20 minutes then draw up a play for KD. Just think about that for one **** second.

I still think we win the series. Books usual mids weren’t falling and CP3 couldn’t hit anything. We also missed payne. It’s a 7 game series. I’m not panicking just yet. But I do agree that Monty needs to go.

Black holes will evaporate at the end of the universe before Shamet is a better player than Lee or Warren.

Durant has to have ball in his hands in last minutes, he shot one 3 pointer and score and it is all shame!!!

And boxing out was big problem, if we secure rebound in last minute would probably win
