Why Kabongo if they want Goodwin to be future pg?

I'm glad we have Horny here to mentor Archie and help him with his shot. He's gonna need it.

I'm not a big fan of guards that can't shoot, but at least Goodwin is one of the youngest players in the draft and he's better at attacking the rim than McLemore.

I like him, but he is SO biased I think he is just WAY off at times. I agree the Wallace contract is horrible, but they are shedding salary too...so it washes out....KG made more than Wallace the next two years and Terry still had two years at $5M a year. So overall they save money and get three firsts. I just don't think you are going to get REAL assets for those guys at this point.

Allen Crabbe going to Portland (via someone on twitter). If this is true, I think it might mean we have agreement in principle with Portland for Gortat/McCollum.

If Koufos (who some think has a higher trade value than Gortat) is worth only Arthur and a very late 2nd then I doubt Blazers would trade McCollum for Gortat.

Dude. You're clinging to a false hope. Gortat is with us until the trade deadline. Let's hope we can get anything for him.

That Rockets 33rd pick should have been ours instead we traded it for the great Marcus Morris.

 Blanks, I'm so glad your gone!

He is a Boston fan, what do you expect? The Nets most likely won't be in the lotto for many years, so the picks will be just middle to late picks. The players aren't that good, maybe at one time, but not lately. If they were talking Garnett for Bledsoe and Jordan, and then turn into Evans, Wallace, Kardashian reject, and late picks..... I guess I would be bummed as a Boston fan, especially after losing in the Cup finals.

It's not happening man. I want that to happen too but the fact that the HC of the team just said he wants Gortat to develop Len means he's staying. I can only imagine the turmoil it would cause if the HC and the GM aren't on the same page.

Yeah, maybe not (esp after rethinking the Goodwin pick) but Denver management really seemed to want to get McGee minutes, so maybe they were kind of eager to get rid of him and underrated his value. Plus, they kind of needed a guy like Arthur since Gallinari is out for a while.

There could be more to the trade, maybe even Scola, so we will just have to wait a few days to find out.

Actually I'm fine with keeping him...I've thought all along he will have the most value at the trade deadline or maybe even after the draft when teams realize they were not able to address their needs in the draft (but that determination may come during the season).

I just thought it was odd that Portland took McCollum AND Crabbe. Lillard is already more of a shoot first pg anyway. And they have Matthews.
