I think they all suck and I want nothing to do with them. I could care less about Spencer Hawes or any of these other career losers. They are terrible. I would rather the Suns just keep their own free agents (except Channing Frye) and continue to develop the young players. Gordon Hayward? Give me a break. The guy shot 41% fg and 30% 3pts last year and there are rumors he will get a max contract. That is a huge joke if I ever heard one. Who are other guys? Trevor Ariza? No thanks. I would rather see what T.J. Warren can do. The only other player I would consider is Pau Gasol, and that is not because I think he will lead the Suns to a title. I would take him because I think he could help Plumlee and Len tremendously. As for the other free agents, absolutely zero interest, especially Luol Deng. He shot 43% fg and 30% 3pts. P.J. Tucker had better statistics than that with 43% fg and 39% 3pts. Just keep P.J., unless the Suns get Lebron. Then he becomes expendable. Basically it is Lebron and/or Bosh or no one for me. I am way more excited about the Suns young players and internal development than I am of 99% of the available free agents.

A fight from 5 years ago isn't a great reason.

I wonder if it would be worth it to throw a big salary deal for 1 year to Pierce for a final Victory Lap this next season. He could play 25 mpg this year and help us in the playoffs plus be a mentor for Warren...Then we'd have him off the books for the following summer.

I posted the same thing a few days ago and got no responses. If we strike out everywhere else, I think big money on a one year deal would make sense, to help demonstrate to the league we can be good with another piece.... and maybe make it more likely that someone like Love joins us next summer.

But Brooklyn will have no qualms about paying him whatever they need to. If Pierce wants out of there, I think it would be probably the best signing we could make this offseason for next year other than LeBron, Melo and Bosh.

If Lebron doesn't come then trade Tucker for a young cheaper alternative because suns FA hunt will extend until next season.

They can play together too. Even though I'm low on Frye he'd be a better fit than Len...
Trading Len/twins/Warren/Goodwin cuts about 12-13m.

Bledsoe-Ennis
Dragic-Green
LBJ-Tucker
Bosh-LBJ/Frye
Pumlee-Frye/Bosh

That is the best team in the league.

Why trade away all our youth? I'd much rather keep guys like Warren/Len/Goodwin around rather than Tucker/Green so we can continue to be good rather than mortgaging our future. You don't see teams like the Spurs trading away their rookies, why should we?

We're talking about different things. If we don't get two superstars you obviously keep the young players.

With Lebron, we could potentially have a "big 4","5," or "6"

LeBron/Dragic/Bledsoe/another free agent. There are already insane role players like Green, as well as Markieff Morris and Plumlee who are still getting better.

If we strike out on Lebron, then there is only one other free agent I'd like to sign and that is Chandler Parsons. Unfortunately he is restricted though, and that means Houston probably only lets him go for the max or near max ($14m+). In that case, I think we can do without Parsons.

He figured scrubs are getting 3-4 million a year contract... Might as well cash in.
I can imagine 76ers maybe bring him in to mentor or practice against Embiid and Noel.

No I'm talking about keeping them even if we do get Lebron/Bosh. If we're shelling out max deals on those two plus 10+ million dollar deals for Goran/Bledsoe, we're going to need cheap productive role players on rookie deals

If we were to land Lebron w/ Bosh and all the global attention that comes with Lebron, I could easily see a western conference all star team starting 5 consisting of 4 out of 5 players from our starting 5 lol.

I know we shouldn't' care what others think but ever since I realized how much NBA fans of other teams and ESPN mocks the Suns chances of landing LeBron by saying stupid s**t like "LOL who wants to sign with the Suns?" "WTF Suns? Why would any superstar sign there" "Suns are like the team that you get drafted or traded to not the team that you sign with" etc, I want LeBron here more than ever to shut those idiots up.

We get LeBron here and for the rest of eternity, nobody can ever say that no stars want to sign with us.

According to sources it is rumored that Lebron got the idea to come to Phoenix over a year ago by reading this:
