Going to start with The Walking Dead...got the whole first season so will watch a couple tonight...

If you haven't watched the Wire, Mad Men or Breaking Bad you should definitely watch those. There are even a couple people from the Wire on Walking Dead. I thought season 2 of WD dragged waaayyy too much. They're on to their 3rd or 4th show runner now because AMC is screwing with everyone. Friday Night Lights is pretty good too(for broadcast tv).

Also, the new show Brooklyn 99 on Fox from the Parks and Rec people is pretty decent.

The Wire is one of my favourites for sure, that use to be on really late, once a week back in NZ and I was the only person I knew who watched it - very good show.

There's a few Brit actors on Walking Dead, even just in the first episode Grimes is a Pom and so is Morgan Jones/Lennie James...

I watched Kings of Summer the other night - not a bad movie, a little cheesy but similar to Stand By Me - coming of age etc. Ron Swanson was hilarious in it...

If you have the time, this is a great story about how a white American accidentally became one of Korea's biggest K-POP performers. Its a great read, im sure DRK will love it too.

Yeah, some of the conditions that the "celebs" live in aren't what you'd expect from the top artists of Korea.

Even outside Superstar K3, and into the actual entertainment industry, artists are signed onto mammoth 10+ year deals from when they're just at trainee age... around 14 or 15.

The "Big 3" of Korean entertainment, SM, YG and JYP all benefit most from all the profit's of the artist's sales, while the artists usually hardly see much of their profit. Artists start off living in dorms with other artists members, so it's not all the glam and luxury that American Celebs have. (Living in mansions etc.)

Even the biggest names in KPop, i.e SNSD, Big Bang, still were living in dorms even up to 2011.

There's a lot of cool things to do. You can join a crew, roam around the whole map with friends or strangers, rob stores with them, and there's also regular death matches. The multiplayer races are really fun IMO. There's also a content creator where you can customize your own matches and races, kinda like Forge in halo. I'm sure there's more I just haven't done them yet.
