Most probably he is not even talking about people on the Suns. Most probably press/media.

Indiana could use IT, IMO. But then, so can we - again, IMO.

We have enough PGs on this team.

This team was fine last year with just Bledsoe and Dragic with Ish playing spot minutes. If Bledsoe doesn't get hurt, we probably make playoffs.

Ennis is more than capable of playing Ish's role from last season with Bledsoe and Dragic getting the vast majority of the playing time at PG.

Anybody read Gerald Green's comments about playing less? Such a professional. I really hope he gets his chance again if IT get traded.

Green is a guy that bounced around the entire world. Russia, China, wherever.

He knows how lucky he is to get back in the NBA. He's not gonna complain over playing time because of that.

Phoenix Suns Rumors: Miles Plumlee Trade With Goran Dragic, Tyler Ennis Option For Roy Hibbert Over Isaiah Thomas, Eric Bledsoe At Deadline?

The Phoenix Suns could be an active team at the trade deadline this year, as names like Goran Dragic, Tyler Ennis and Miles Plumlee could be on the move along with Gerald Green or one of the Morris brothers, as the roster has a backup of players at guard with Isaiah Thomas and Eric Bledsoe and this comes as Dragic is expected to be a top free agent target this summer.

The Suns are third in the Pacific division and contenders for the playoffs in the west and they come in after a close win on Monday against the Grizzlies. The team is 28-22 this year and they won 48 games last season, missing the playoffs as the ninth seed. The team has a big test on national TV with the Blazers coming up and they are the fourth ranked team in the league in scoring. The Suns need to get better on defense, as they are ranked 28th overall and they could look at adding someone like Hibbert at the deadline.

Last year the Suns were rumored to be interested in a deal for Hibbert, as the Pacers have liked Dragic for some time. Marc Stein reported the interest about the Pacers and Dragic, but things changed over the summer for the team with the Paul George injury. The Pacers still could go after Dragic, while Ennis also could be a target at point guard for the team.

Plumlee has been playing less minutes as the season has gone on and that is one reason why the Suns have been looking to trade him. The team likes Plumlee, but they feel he has not been able to get into the rotation enough and they want to keep Alex Len up front to develop. The Suns have pushed Plumlee down since making the trade for Brandan Wright and the team has been trying to give more minutes to Alex Len, who was a top draft pick. The Suns would like to acquire at least a first round draft pick for Plumlee, who was selected by the Pacers at number 26 in the first round in 2012. Mason was selected in 2013 by the Nets at number 22 in the first round.

The Suns signed Thomas in the offseason and brought back Bledsoe and they may look at trading Dragic at the trading deadline. Dragic is heading towards free agency and he is going to be one of the most coveted players on the market. The Lakers, Knicks and Houston Rockets all reportedly will be interested in Dragic and the Suns are hoping to retain him.
The Suns also have Tyler Ennis at point guard and could also look at moving Gerald Green or PJ Tucker. The Washington Post put together a list of players that likely will be moved at the deadline and Green was one of them. The Suns were involved in the Austin Rivers to Clippers trade, as they were one of the three teams in that deal and received Reggie Bullock while giving up Shavlik Randolph. The Suns had already pulled off another deal involving Boston last week, acquiring Wright for a protected draft pick. http://www.sportsworldreport.com/articl ... adline.htm

I don't know what Batums contract looks like but I think we can snag him.

I don't think Portland will trade Batum just because he's been bad this season. He's had some personal stuff going along with injuries this year.

The good Batum would be a more than perfit fit at SF for us. One of the best SFs in the entire league before this year.

Nuggets' Brian Shaw suspects players may be trying to lose

Guys in white Nuggets jerseys moved up and down the court Saturday at the Pepsi Center. There was a bench full of other players sitting, watching. There were coaches in suits. Referees. A shot clock. The "Kiss Cam."

But it wasn't a game being played. It was a mutiny.

"We're in a bad place right now," Nuggets coach Brian Shaw said Sunday, after Denver was blown out 104-86 by Charlotte, at home, in the worst loss of the Shaw Era.

"It has to get better. If it doesn't get better — and even if does get better — at some point things still may change. I understand that going into this. And I accept anything that comes from it."

Last week, after putting up just 69 points at Memphis in a 30-point loss, Shaw ripped his players.

"I'd have more respect if guys just told me they didn't feel like playing tonight from the start," he said.

So Nuggets players, in response, were no-shows the next game. They sent a message back to their coach. They scored just 15 points in the first quarter against a Charlotte team missing its leading scorer, Kemba Walker. They scored just 15 points in the second quarter and trailed by 32 at halftime. It was a rout before all of the 13,302 fans even sat down. The Nuggets were booed off the court twice, at the half and after the final buzzer.

Kanter's a good scorer big man. I don't think Utah would do that even though I'm sure their trying to find a way to move him so they can start the BEAST Gobert.

That is insane. Denver is in a really crappy spot right now. Their future looks very bad. If I were their GM I'd start selling off players for picks right now.

The Suns are sort of built like the Nuggets of 2 seasons ago... 4-5 good players but no stars... but competitive.

You'd think they would of rebuilt last season but instead they are holding on to a team going no where... and capped out.

Not worried about the suns future.. IT is just in a crappy spot, last year the suns had a stretch 4 and PJ Tucker who was so good from the corner 3 last season. Dragic, Bledsoe, and Green had great years because of the offensive spacing and the injuries to both guards, Green really stepped up as well and as fans we expect to see the same Dragic and Bledsoe and it's impossible with this many guards on a team, so people especially at beginning of the year blamed IT rather than goran for being tired from way to much basketball at the beginning of the year. And Bledsoe mentally struggled early on, spacing wasn't as open as last year so it was a process. IMO I want to keep IT he's nice for a sixth man and if green leaves in free agency which I expect than he has a huge purpose. Suns need a backup center to back up Len and wright, they need versatile forwards who can space the floor. Especially stretch 4s like a Draymond Green who can rebound also the 3 pg stuff works at times it's just tough because the floor isn't spaced as wide as it should be, also lack of rebounding late, a draymond green playing instead of Marcus who can't rebound that well, draymond would of also been able to guard the best player, PJ is fine but we need a matrix type player/ stretch 4 to really accommodate these guards..

Kanter will be a restricted free agent so if Utah has already decided they don't want to pay him the Suns may be able to get him but they'd have to sweeten the package a bit. Either include Thomas or one of the Suns' young guns (i.e. Goodwin, Bullock, Ennis).

Kanter is 22, can score with his back to the basket as well as hit the outside shot, and is a better rebounder than his stats indicate due to how dominant Utah is on the boards (second in rebound differential) and the low amount of available field goal attempts there are in a Jazz game (second lowest offense, 3rd lowest defence - in comparison, an average Jazz game has about 10 field goal attemps less than an average Suns game).

The main problem with trading for him is that the Suns will likely have to give him at least 10 mil. a year to retain him after this season.

I remember just before the start of the season most people were saying Denver would be a playoff team and the Suns would finish 10th.
