he doesnt suck... he's a traditional PG that likes to pass rather than shoot... if surrounded with shooters it might be OK, but he needs to step up his defense and get to the line more.

Just looked at Payton's numbers post All-Star and they were very good, but the rest of his career has been barely NBA standard, I'm not sure we trade based on cherry picking a favourable 10% sample.

I would not deal for Payton. We don't have the roster to surround him with shooters which would make him almost useless with our team.

With Teodosic's injury and Bledsoe's roots, I think that the Clippers are the perfect fit.

They have some interesting players.

Should've been traded last summer before all the other PG's were signed.

Only the Bucks and Nuggets make sense now.

There's not a single player on this team now that I wouldn't trade if it netted a 1-5 pick in the next draft.

If only LBJ committed to the Cavs we could just maybe get that BKN pick.

I know Porzingis has expressed frustration with the Knicks. Any chance we could swing Bledsoe for Frank Ntlikina?

Justin Patton (Our 2017 first round pick)
Tyus Jones

I think the value is fine, but we would likely need an additional team to be involved.

Patton is the only attractive asset in that package and he's already dealing with injuries to the foot (red flag for big men).

We are not looking for a volume of assets. We need better picks or players.

Cosmo we agree again :) I think this is about what Bledsoes value is right now. I'd do this deal without any other team being involved. Patton is an interesting prospect when he comes back from injury. Jones is worth a look at PG and another pick isn't a bad thing.

Sure I would love for a better deal to materialize but with Bledsoe playing like he doesn't care and publicly pouting I don't expect teams to throw huge packages at the Suns.

I always liked Jones, and wondered why isn't he utilized more. Change Aldrich to Dieng and we might have a deal.

Some of us Magic fans would also do this:

Bledsoe

for

Orlando's unprotected 1st in 2018, Mario Hezonja, DJ Augustin

I like the fact that Hezonja is a Croatian just like Bender. This might make them both more comfortable having each other, and might help them improve quicker.

This is my trade: With Cleveland - Rose is hurt again and who knows when IT is healthy - love affair with Lebron

Out:
Bledsoe 14.5
Chris 3.1
Derick Jones 1.3

Total 18.8

In.

Calederon 2.3
Shumpert 10.3
Frye 7.3
Brooklyn Pick with some protection - prefer no protection.

19.7

Cleveland gets a PG for their Championship ambitions who is currently healthy and would love to play with Lebron, while dumping two salaries they really do not need and getting the next Amare Stoudemire in Chris.

We get a PG that I believe has a relationship with Triano as well as an old friend to many in Frye. Shumpert who knows our defense might improve. The Brooklyn pick is the key to any move with Cleveland.

I would love to add Chandler to the deal but I do not see anyone that Cleveland would be willing to ship out to make salaries match.

Just do it.

I just think a move with Cleveland makes the most sense. It all depends on that Brooklyn pick.

Cavs maybe swap that pick with the Miami pick (even then I cant see it), but i cant see them trading it straight up for Bledsoe, especially with Lebrons lack of commitment.

Clarkson + Randle but would likely be a 3way because of Lonzo
