He dances to the beat of his own drummer (Wade).

He will sign with them next summer. You heard it here first.

Lebron has made the Finals six straight times in the East. I do not think he will consider switching to the West. No way.

He has a home in LA. He grew up a Laker fan. Lebron isn't the type to stay in one spot. He's proven that. He will jump ship again according to my sauces.

Chad Ford, ESPN NBA Insider
Chad Ford breaks down the prospects that the Suns could potentially take in the 2016 NBA Draft. Which prospect has the most upside and who is the safest pick at #4?
Listen:
Chad Ford, ESPN NBA Insider

ESPN’s Chad Ford is among several prominent mock draft makers who forsee the Phoenix Suns drafting Washington’s Marquese Chriss this Thursday.

Put an asterisk next to that guess.

Phoenix could instead maneuver around the NBA Draft lottery, and Ford said recent history makes him hesitant to believe the Suns will hold that No. 4 pick tight.

Ford believes Chriss has the most upside outside Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram, but he isn’t confident the Suns will take the 18-year-old forward.

“He’s not as NBA-ready as the rest of the prospects the Suns are going to be looking at,” Ford told Arizona Sports 98.7 FM’s Burns and Gambo show. “The only thing that makes me question Phoenix taking him at four is that they’ve not been very patient. (Suns owner) Robert Sarver has not been very patient in the past and Marquese Chriss, of all the guys they could select, you’re going to have to be patient with.”

If the Suns really aren’t willing to wait on a rookie to develop, Ford believes they very well could trade out of the No. 4 spot.

While trading down a couple of spots might not net a huge return, it’s possible Phoenix would be happy trading one or both of their lottery picks.

“From everything that I’m hearing, Phoenix is talking to a lot of teams about a lot of things that would have them maybe moving No. 4, to move out of the draft completely and get a youngish veteran that can come in and contribute right now,” Ford said. “Again, Robert Sarver is not a patient man, has not shown that he’s been willing to stick with a plan for very long.

“I think if they can turn this No. 4 pick into a guy who is an immediate contributor, who is young enough to really fit the direction the Suns are going, they’re willing to do that.”

Bender will slide up to Pick 9 if he goes pass Pick 5, where Raptors will nab him if he get there, similar to Winslow last season.

Suns will somehow end up with Russell, Okafor, McConnell, and Bender.

Russell, TJ
Booker, Bogdan
TJ, Somebody
Bender, Len
Okafor, Len

And the better news is that team is so young it'll tank out and we'll get a top pick next year too.

Mcdonough has pressure to improve this year or he's gonna be gone soon. Thats the big reason I dont see us going with Chriss or someone thats gonna need a few years to develop. Cant have another Len.

Btw, Earl had an interview a few weeks ago and they asked him what kind of players he would like in the draft. He said we need shooting, someone that can play above the rim and versatility.

Who fits that bill? That rules out just everybody else . In theory Chriss is what they are looking for

again......why do people think Okafor (specifically), a center who can't stretch the floor, play defense, or rebound, a good fit as a Phoenix Sun? you know, the run and gun fun ones? it's not a match.

Schmitz said our first target should be Dragan Bender, but if he is off the board, which he was in his scenario, he thinks we should go with Marquese Chriss. Schmitz basically said that he fits our need at Power Forward and is able to play the pick and pop and play well above the rim. Said he's a good fit with Booker to help stretching the floor and Bledsoe getting in the paint. Low basketball iq, shows flashes of brilliance then makes you wonder what's going on in his head in the next possession, and doesn't really know how talented he is. He said he's watched him since his sophomore year and has seen him develop his pick and pop game more recently, and thinks he'll continue to improve. Duncan doesn't think the DReb issue is as big as it seems because of how much he ended up out on the perimeter on defense.

Return to Phoenix Suns
