The Lakers are trading Thomas Bryant to the Nuggets for Davon Reed and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

Second round picks are the belle of the ball right now lol

Brooklyn's blockbuster Kevin trade with Phoenix is not yet official, which could allow Nets to expand this deal. But despite wealth of interest, Brooklyn intends to keep Mikal Bridges beyond the 3 p.m. trade deadline, league sources told @YahooSports.

Suns should get a couple seconds from MilwAukee for Crowder

So with Ayton/ Durant handling frontcourt defense, It appears the suns need to really focus on POA defense and perimeter wing defense. Okogie definitely helps somewhat. But other names the suns should be creatively and aggressively pursuing (depending upon cost) are:
1- Matisse Thybulle.
(Send Saric home)!
Saric/ 2nd for Thybulle/House/Harrell??

2- Gary Payton 2nd.
(Portland gets more shooting)
Shamet/2 2nds for Payton 2nd?
OR
Saric/ Payne/ 2 2nds for Payton 2nd/ Winslow?

3- Alex Caruso.
Saric/ Craig/ 26' 1st (pick made draft night for Chicago due to Stepian rule) 2 (future) 2nds for Caruso/ D Jones Jr?

with all these seconds flying around and with some expiring contracts, we definitely have enough to try to improve a bit more. We need someone who can guard the ball and not totally suck on offense

Suns should offer infinity 2nd rounders for a rotation guy. Like structure the trade so the other teams gets the suns second round pick until the end of time :)

Indiana is acquiring Bucks' Jordan Nwora and two second-rounders in this Nets/Bucks three-way deal, sources said.

Milwaukee acquires its defending, culture piece in Crowder for the stretch run. Crowder's last three NBA seasons: Two NBA Finals runs and a 64-win season.

CULTURE PIECE?!?!? You cannot be serious shams

Going to ask again - why not get a couple seconds for Jae and flip those players to Nets

Saric and a second for Richardson makes sense
Suns need to strike

This report that the Suns were going to pivot to John Collins of Atlanta in a 3-way deal is 100% incorrect. It was KD or minor moves to support the Suns core.

glad to see Monty actually put his foot down on that. being a player's coach it's important not to get stepped on.

Yeah, glad this Crowder's craziness is over.

Don't stop posting, just come with an open mind and have some fun with this team. Stopping posting and only coming back to throw out a 'i told you so' about your favorite team failing seems like a joyless plan.

Time for a break, but appreciate it.

Ayton is my favorite player on Suns now and he just gets **** on non stop here anyways so probably not a good place to be.

Come on, don't stop posting.

Your thoughts are interesting, who cares if we disagree or not.

Phoenix/ Toronto (As long as we're paying a huge LT bill anyways)!!
Saric/Shamet/ 2 2nds for Boucher/ Porter Jr.
Then immediately sign Westbrick or Wall from Buyout market!!
Either would provide significant low cost depth to our thin rotation/ bench?

Paul/ Book/ Craig/ Durant/ Ayton.
Westbrick/ Lee/ Porter Jr/ Boucher/ Biyombo.
Saban/ Payne/ Okogie/ Ish / Landale.

Is Jones really going to ride on Torrey Craig, I'm not sure Okogie makes the rotation so 1 wing stopper.

Lee, Warren, Saric, Biyombo is about standard for a contender possibly even good if healthy and in form.

Not only that, but I really do not understand all of this crying about the bench all of a sudden...it's the exact same bench we had yesterday...

We trade 2 starters, and a non-player + picks, and in exchange, we get back 2 starters, one of which is a top 3 or 4 player in the league, even at 34. The bench that has been utilized this season, to date, hasn't changed, so unless we are crying over the same 'below-value' bench, with the same verve and vigor that we did yesterday, I'm not seeing how the staus of our bench is relevant to the argument against the trade, at all.

And tbh, Craig, Saric, Lee, Payne, Biyombo/Landale isn't a horrible bench. We also have Okogie, and/or Wainright to add some spirit to the defense, when needed. Yeah, Shamet is overpaid, but he's not the start-and-end of our bench. Payne is playing better this season than last, as is Saric, I'd argue.

and yeah, there's a distinguished difference in level of play between our starters and bench...but that's a good thing, IMO, as the Starters are where I'd rather have our (I'm sorry, Mat's) money spent.

Wow, I was majorly wrong.

And it feels like a slight overpay, but you got to go all in sometimes.

Nets could afford to wait it out until the summer, we couldn't, apparently. Not with Kyrie in Dal and Lakers getting Russell.

It'll be a fun offensive unit, let's hope we can get back some perimeter D.
