This warriors team is infuriating. Cocky and full of themselves as always. Draining every three and celebrating as if they just cured cancer and solved world hunger. Draymond finally playing hard and isn't "injured" anymore. Denver sucks but **** man the warriors are gonna be tough to guard. I think they drew the easiest first round matchup, allowing them to focus on team chemistry and health as opposed to any sort of gameplan lol. We're gonna have to play 4 perfect games to beat them in a series.

Lol Jordan Poole already getting better calls on both ends of the floor than Booker ever has. **** me man. Also Draymond is beyond annoying. God I hate that team.

Draymond hitting the three and strutting back on defense as if he's a 75% three point shooter is about enough for me. Gotta turn this one off haha

By the looks of it we should be rooting for the Grizzlies. The Warriors fans were really scared of meeting them. I would prefer an inexperienced team in WCF.

Jordan Poole is up for an extension this summer…are the warriors gonna max him even with Curry/Thompson still on max/super max deals?

If not teams will definitely be lining up to max him out in RFA next year’s summer.

Poole was drafted 4 selections after James Jones drafted Ty Jerome in 2019…

I'm happy the suns didn't trade for and then extend Mike Conley.

And I think it was considered a reach where poole was picked. Hat tip to him and the warriors development. He's Gilbert Arenas 2.0. It is going to be tricky for them to keep him because he shouldn't take anything less than a max for an early extension because some team would give him that as a RFA in 23.

I liked the Jerome pick at the time. Then I watched him play like 3 games before I was like 'oh **** this dude simply isn't athletic enough'.

Read on Twitter

Denver has Davon Reed who’s a better defender than any of their guys who played tonight and yet Malone has him just rotting away on the bench.

I want the Celtics if we make it to the finals. Booker has a history scoring big in Boston. Ayton can cause some damage against their bigs as well. Mikal would be further motivated to show who's the better defender between him and Smart. Also for some reason Tatum turns into inefficient chucker when I watch Celtics game, so I feel they are an easier opponent than Bucks and Heat.

Second round will be very very entertaining. We would most likely have the easiest series while playing Luka, which guarantees entertainment by itself. Then all other series have a potential for a bloodbath.

Offensively Ayton has to kill them inside once CP3 or Booker draws Draymond on the switch to the perimeter.

Of course I’m thinking way ahead and we still have five more wins to get before we even reach there but yeah.

5 more wins? Or 7?

Jordan Poole as a max player? I don't see that at all barring a huge jump. I know he's shown it in the last few months with 3 pt shooting and is very efficient overall, but that seems excessive.

Jalen Brunson is a stud. He will get paid this offseason. Heck if Detroit doesn't get Ayton they should go for him. I'm not saying max from him but he'd make that team A LOT better.

Yeah, if Ayton was allowed to set as many moving screens as Draymond or hit players as hard as he does without getting foul calls, he'd easily be the defensive player of the year.

Defense is about schemes and having good defensive players, but a lot of it is based on how your team gets reffed. Blowing some whistles and getting guys into foul trouble can really change the course of a game and a team's defensive style and success/lack of success.

I think giving him a max based on his trajectory of improving every season makes more sense than other guys that received max contracts like Wiggins and D’Angelo Russell.

It’s a gamble for sure but team desperate enough will find it worthwhile I think.

I didn’t like the Jerome pick but I’ve been plenty wrong before so I hoped it would be another one of those occasions but so far he hasn’t lived up to 1st round billing.

He reminded me of Kaminsky in college…a guy that had success in college but would find it hard to thrive in the NBA because of lack of athleticism. I figured Jerome’s absolute high ceiling would be a 3rd string guard similar to Kaminsky being a 3rd string big.

There’s just so very few guards that can get away with not having even average athleticism and still be even a starter caliber player or better. VanVleet is one of those rare examples.

Becouse if fouls were called on GIannis like they are called on regular guys he wouldn't be playing 20 minutes a game before fouling out. But he is Giannis, and the NBA needs him - so he'll be able to push, go over the back and whatever else he does almost every posession.

Giannis is the only player that gets away with so many push offs or charges and gets rewarded for this all the time so it's almost impossible to guard him.

I saw one play he charged into I think Derozen who was stationary outside the circle and DeRozen was called for a blocking foul.

You're very sleepy since it's late and forgiven by the entire phoenix fanbase.
