I wouldn't stick Kerr in w/ that trashy bunch. Kerr in his prime was a lights out shooter. Comparing Curry to a better Kerr is giving that kid the potential to be one of the best shooters ever. I'm not saying that Curry doesn't have the potential...i'm just saying that youre making it sound like Kerr is 30% from the arc. Kerr in his prime was a 50% shooter from the 3.

Man so glad IHG is around, without him we'd be running around posting articles from different conflicting sources and trying to decide which one sounds the most legit. As for Curry or Randolph, right now I'd take Randolph. I think his potential is higher than that of Curry. Curry has the potential to be an elite scorer and while playing a bit of point (like Agent Zero), but I think Randolph could possibly be very good defensive point forward. like someone said, a Lamar Odom with better defense.

Thanks IHG for keeping us in the loop.

He already failed in the Shaq deal, basketball-wise. And he barely pass on draft night because the Griffin pick and the $$$ he got for the #57. Total waste. Let see how this going to play out. Stand your ground Kerr!

Kerr isn't a great GM but getting Shaq was a good trade, if you think our team with Marion could've beaten Boston that year then ur on some kind of mind-altering substance. It's no secret we were a soft team that needed a physical force in the middle, it didn't work but at least he tried :D

No, I was talking about the Shaq for expiring and garbage contract deal, Kerr didn't get the Cavs to throw in a pick. We basically just give Shaq away and get nothing value in return. And that's basically the same result as letting Marion walk anyway.

it didn't work but at least he tried :D

That's the same reason that had kept Isiah Thomas in NY for years. I'm sorry, no A's for effort. I have never subscribed to this line of so-called "reasoning." Just "trying to do something" isn't good management. Making smart decision IS good management. Yes I agree with getting bigger and tougher but in reality it is inconsequential. Kerr is foolish enough to think it would be that simple. Shaq = Big = Championship. Didn't work.

We can get Chandler for peanuts (not that much older than Biedrins, AND shorter deal), and if Amare wants out we find a suitor around the deadline when Amare on the right team makes them an instant contender...

--- I'm not big on Biedrins - he's a stick, to weak to play centre in the west
I like Bellinelli but I'd like to see Morrow in the deal if barbs is going.
Nelson says Curry isn't going anywhere ...

I have zero faith in Kerr ... he's going to come back from town with a handful of magic beans and no cow

I'd love him here for Nash to NYC

Many ppl forget this but Kerr's best years was when the 3pt line was shortened. IMO they should have an asterix next to those seasons.

Maybe work out a 3 way deal sending Chandler elsewhere? How about to OK for Collison, Watson and our pick next year? And we'll add GRIFFIN haha

--- I'd really much rather have Chandler than Beans -

from ESPN today: (just the pertinent parts for us)

The Suns – Can They Be Trusted?: In this business you expect to be lied to, that's just how it's going to go, but as HOOPSWORLD explained to Mavericks' owner Mark Cuban who suggested a major site like ESPN keep a running list of websites that put out bogus stories and rumors, the Phoenix Suns now have to headline the list of teams that simply can not be taken at their word.

For weeks league sources said the Suns were shopping their assets heavily, yet repeatedly Suns' GM Steve Kerr denied interest in deals and said over and over how he felt he had a championship caliber team.

In all honesty, the Suns may be a better team without Shaq, which remains to be seen and clearly LeBron James has his work cut out for him trying to play with Shaquille O'Neal. Shaq can be the king-maker as he was with Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade or he can be the MVP killer as he was with Steve Nash. The move was clearly a bold move by the Cavaliers and the net results remain to be seen.

For the Suns, the question becomes is this the last move of the summer?

The Suns are rumored to have the framework of a trade with Golden State that would send Amaré Stoudemire to Golden State after July 1st for No. 7 pick Stephen Curry, Warriors' center Andris Biedrins, Brandan Wright and shooting guard Marco Belinelli. However Kerr has been adamant that the reports a deal were false and that he was not shopping Amaré – however no one is buying the denials anymore.
It will be interesting to see if Kerr is being genuine in his denials, or maybe he's just not in the loop?

Much like AParker in TO last year, we discovered our off-guard had turned into a decent PG if required. We'd forced barbs into that role a lot of times but last year was the first time it seemed to fit. His game is much more rounded than in years past and he's still a bargain. 2 years left on his deal?
