He bitched his way off the team, stating he was unhappy playing off the ball, yet tonight, he had no problem doing exactly what he said made him so unhappy? So either he is an idiot, and had no idea why he was mad, and played poorly because if it. Or he he just wanted to go to a big market team where he could make more money, and his wife could be in a place to make her own money.
Either way, he is a good player, that should have spent his summer working on the things to make himself better as a player. He should have worked on his free throw shooting, and his three pointers. He could have still averaged 20+ points even with Bledsoe and IT on the team.
But watching Wade bring the ball up so much, when Goran was in the game, made me think he was full of sh*t about wanting to be the main guy.

Dragic's usage percentage this season:
in Phoenix 21.4%
in Miami 19.9%
He had no problem differing the ball to Wade tonight, as I saw him do all season to both Beldsoe and IT. Honestly it wasn't
Ike he knew he wasn't going to get any better than last year, wanted to cash in big on his next contract, so it wouldn't matter how he played (unless completely useless), he could demand a trade, do alright at the next city, and use his stats from last season to get the big money. He could always blame his stats on being unhappy, or betrayed.
This whole thing sticks, and he is just as much a pile of dung as anything.
He could have just came out like gangbusters make another all-NBA team, get us deep into the playoffs, and then super cash in, pretty much wherever he wanted. Who knows, he could have been happy if he spent the summer fine tuning his game, instead of worrying about being the main point guard, and exhausting himself in games that werent even the Olympics. That attitude seemed to be all over this team, at least what it looked like on the court.
I'm glad he is gone, he was very disappointing this year to me. Maybe that was my fault for liking him so much, and thought he could take it to the next level into greatness? Instead he kept all the same weakness, issues with free throws, started the season 0-11 in three pointers. If he wanted to be the man, there were plenty of games to do so. Both Bledsoe and IT had some pooper of games. Bledsoe and Goran being inconsistent created room for IT to want to prove himself worthy of a starting job. Maybe the FO thought that the three would try to out do the other but in control. It didn't work that way, they just weren't a pass first group.
Speaking of which, has anyone noticed that Bledsoe is trying to get everyone going earlier in the game? That first game against Minny, it just seemed like Bledsoe wasn't even trying to score to start, but instead try and pass more? It wasn't the whole game, but from the starts.
