Re: The Boogie Watch
Wow, the Kings have got to be the most inept franchise ever if they took that garbage deal for a superstar in Cousins.

Re: The Boogie Watch
Players traded in their 2nd contract can't get the supermax for their 3rd contract.
76ers have Sacramento unprotected 1st in 2019 lol.

Re: The Boogie Watch
Do we spend stupidly now that we lost the Boogie sweepstakes? Throw way too much at the Bulls for Butler?

OK...with Cousins be shipped I'm somewhat confused, but at the same time somewhat excited.
a.) If you look back throughout EVERYWHERE, the idea was the Cousins would command something like this from the Suns: Suns 2017/2018 First/2021 First/Chriss/Warren. And even Boston fans were stating they WOULD beat it.
b.) Cousins has dictated the trade market this season. With a number of stars in the same position as Sac, there is the ability to make a move that would cost 1/2 as much as we are all thinking.
c.) Could NBA GMs be dictating that draft picks are the cream of the crop?
d.) NBA fans have no idea what the hell real market value is.
e.) are "old" contract valuable. Do GM's think that any decent player making $15mil is better NOW than paying the same type of player close to double that in a few years? Does Knight have more value now?

At this point I'm all in on a Bledsoe move for a lottery pick. Time for full tank.

That's what I'm thinking , we have more to offer than NO. Oh well, we keep our excellent assets and NO gets bounced in the first round at best .

Bled can help lure Boggie next year. Boogie can pick his team...

No need to go extreme. Cousins trade has dictated the trade market. At this point, Bledsoe's trade value has dropped CONSIDERABLY.
Best now to play the trade game and buy low on good players.

We stay the course, get another piece in the draft, move PJ and Chandler. Pursue FA with a young up and coming roster.

Re: The Boogie Watch
Took the words out of my mouth. I thought it was rough being a Suns fan. Kings just traded away the best player they've had in the past 15 years for another Ben McLemore...

Still a good night for his cred considering everyone ripped him when he said the Kings were talking about mediocre offers a few weeks back.

Buy low? All the teams holding a boatload of assets still have those assets! The Kings got nothing for Boogie. Didn't even take out one of our trade competitors. They gave the guy away.
This trade makes it more difficult to add a quality player. Not less.
