Stop being so pessimistic. We’ll pick 3rd, that’s for sure.

Gobert really improved Bamabs stock this series and overall for the season. Jazz is ass without him.

Bagley
Bamba
Young
JJJ....yuck but what do I know...seriously.
Porter Jr if medical checks out.

So many players. Just being top four is awesome. I’m not gonna be upset at all if we don’t get Doncic. He looks very good, but come on.

I’ll only be upset if we pick the wrong guy.

I’m guessing he’ll measure 6’11” without shoes. Quite frankly I don’t care as long as he has a tremendous reach/wingspan.

Lol at Ayton being 6'9

I found a video that has him listed at 6'9

Ayton is a physically massive marvel of a human being and anybody who honestly thinks he isn't anything other than a walking giant needs to get Lasik immediately. Physically you cannot ask for a better big man prospect. There are weaknesses like with any player, but his size/athleticism/wingspan are not any of them. If he is 6'9" then every big in college is like 6'5", except for Tacko who I guess is barely 7' by that metric.

He was in middle school. Lol. I didn't realize he played for Bibby. Mike Bibby has become a he'll of a good high school coach here in the valley. Shadow Mountain was very good this year.

I had seen team Bibby on his shirt but didn't realize Bibby coached at Shadow Mountain. I would have went to school there if I didn't move while in Jr High.

Hey man! I'm living in your old hood! Kiddo goes to desert cove.

Bibby has been there for a few years. Saw them play once the past season. Think they were nationally ranked.

I'm a PV guy but Bibby used to go to my church.

I feel that Bamba to Gobert is what Thabeet was to Mutombo.

Who ever drafts Bamba expecting Gobert is going to be disappointed. Apart from wingspan... Bamba does not have much in common with Gobert. Gobert has high defensive IQ and plays defense with his legs as all good defenders do. Bamba has no legs.

To me Ayton is likely to be a Cousins/Towns type center. High scorer and rebounder with maybe a block and a bit as his nightly contribution.

Similarly to those mentioned... I expect him to be a decent passer and can be used as an inside to outside passer or top of the key to slasher type of passer.

He's a safe pick IMO.

Hence top 2 is HUGE for the Suns to hopefully get.

Outside that are medium to high risk players.

Thabeet was soft. Bamba isn’t soft. What did Gobert look like as a 19 year old? Not too good, that’s why he went 27. But you are entitled....

What is the odds of the new Gobert already being available in the draft?

Besides Gobert is an excellent defender because of his IQ. Bamba is blocking and defending non NBA players Well who are also smaller and less athletic than NBA players.

This is what I see watching his videos.... He is half a second slower than the elite athletic bigs and he has not shown good defensive IQ... Mediocre IQ IMO... He would need to develop perfectly to be a good defender and Suns are terrible in developing defensive centers.

In the NHL draft lottery, the Hurricanes had the 11th worst odds, moved up to #2.
The Canadians, 4th worst, moved to 3
The Sabres, best odds to win lottery, won the lottery.

Hopefully that's a good sign for us

Well we will see, either way, he won’t be a Sun so it doesn’t matter. I think Bamba is gonna be a terror on defense.

That's a joke. If any team deserved good karma its the Coyotes. They busted their butts to go from worst record to the third worst record. They were the opposite of tanking - they improved. Just like when they were bottom 2 and got 3

Suns are getting 4 for sure

Oh yeah they are for sure picking 4..... but they are going to take JJJ and he's going to be the next Garnett.... super awesome but they will fizzle out and he'll get traded in conference and go win two titles with a new team.... ripping the hearts out of suns fans.... its a long con curse that started out with the kareem coin flip.

White Sox curse ended. Red Sox curse ended. Cubs curse ended.....we are next.

And yes, if we got JJJ at 4, I’d pray that he was the truth and better than Bagley, however if JJJ went 3 and we got Bagley at 4, I wouldn’t mind; also if we got Trae at four, no biggie.

I’m not worried about the lottery more than the draft. The only person we are guaranteed not to get if we fall out of 1 is Ayton. He is going 1, the rest could fall anywhere in the top 4 and that includes Doncic.
