Its a great pick.

Over the first 30 games of the 2012-13 campaign (before the injury bug began to bite), Chris Kaman averaged 13.7 ppg and 6.5 rpg, to go along with solid shooting percentages. As long as he can stay healthy, he’ll play plenty of minutes for the undermanned Lakers, and should be able to post decent numbers. Kaman makes sense as a late-round flier that could provide depth at the always thin center position.

After Len was taken, Kaman was my next go to guy. I didnt think he would still be there for my last pick, but i was hoping.

Yeah, if I wasn't a Suns fan and or had a Sun or two already I would have gone with him, there were a couple of others as well, but I really wanted at least 1 Sun.

Well, at least Marshall should still be on the board at my last pick!

Sorry but it is very likely some people SOMETIMES can't log in in ten hours. Jobs, families, sleep, whatever...life. Not everybody is here 24/7. I still don't understand what the big deal is. We're 20 days away from the start of the regular season.

Oh and my first pick is PJ Tucker

Firstly: you know I wouldve beaten you very easily if not for the insane amount of injuries to all of my players....
Derrick Rose, Carmelo, DeMarcus, Monroe, Paul Millsap, Thornton, Manu, Lowry were all Top 35 Fantasy Players, but all were out for extended periods of time.

Secondly, it's the D-League...................

The 10 hours is there so that the draft somewhat flows. Once we start, people get really into it and can't wait for their next pick. It wouldn't be fair for us to have 13 people sitting and clicking refresh to see how close their pick is, and one person who consistently took over 10 hours. Some people would lose interest, others would get frustrated...we can't do a live draft because of time zones, plus it's fun to have more time to strategize and adjust, but the least we can do is keep the draft moving at some kind of pace.

We usually start fairly early and could stand to start a little later because you guys are right, we're still 20 days out. But I think that's separate from whether we have a time limit.

Something that has been an option for years is sending a list of choices to someone else, via PM, or text, etc, and I don't see why that's such a bad deal. 10 hours is a long time considering that option is available. We picked 10 hours because that allows for more than a "normal" night's sleep and also more than a "typical" work shift. And because if 10 hours isn't enough, a list can easily be sent to someone.

Well, I agree with all of that, and that's why I think most of us, if not all, try to make a pick as soon as we can. But there's a 10 hour window for a reason, and if somebody takes long to pick, for whatever reason, we should respect that.

I agree with the 10 hour thing, not with complaining after it's been a couple of hours since that last pick.

It isn't the end of the world if somebody who usually tries drafting as soon as they can (like sunskerr for example) misses their 10 hour window at the end of the draft.

However, anybody who misses their 10 hours for whatever reason also needs to accept the fact that there are 13 other GMs in a draft with multiple timezones that needs to keep rolling, and so their time limit will be reduced going forward.
