I don't understand why we never tried to get Bosh instead of wasting time with LeBron.

Yeah minny would be more inclined to trade love to cavs for Wiggins rather than anything the suns can offer. An uncommitted Dragic? :dontknow:

They also wouldn't want to help a western conference team.

No, you are our last hope Dr Manute. You need to head back to Carl's Jr tomorrow and bump into Sarver, dropping this http://www.cheatersspyshop.com/mini-sti ... oCorjw_wcB into his coat pocket. Bump into him again when he is leaving work and retrieve it from the pocket, listen to it and report back. Got it?

I could see that, Love, Lebron, Irving, and the rest would be the favorites in the East.

Wiggins, and 2 of their 3 2015 1st round picks ought to get it done.

Ray ray And 1'd that...

Does James actually want to return to CLE? That would most likely mean Bosh to HOU. West would pretty freaking tough to get through.

I would give a max to Parsons than and f'up their future cap space.

Classic BH post

But it's true. With or without Lebron we have the talent and personnel to win 53+ games next season IMO. And anything can happen in the playoffs. Just need to make smart moves right now.

Shove this up your ****, shove that up your ****. BH won't be happy til everyone's got **** up their ****.

What's funny is that if BH talks in public the same way he posts then he'd be doing hard time in jail imo.

I think he's probably one of those really shy guys who everyone pushes around and comes on message boards after work to cuss and take out what he really wanted to say.

Every single post of his has either a cuss word or "Jesus Christ" in it. I'm not super relegious and yet it bothers me when someone uses the Lord's name in vein countless for such stupid silly crap.

Is Gasol not a star? Is Deng not a star. I am tired of this big three mentality. You do what you can to improve, and keep stocking the pantry with assets, then pounce on a deal when it's right. BTW , how many superstars did Dallas have ... How about the Spurs? Both teams with solid roll players and a team mentality. Sure they both had players who were the tops at their posisitions... And they had them from day one...

Do we have a Allstar ? No but chances are we will have one next yr

And don't cry about contender status. It's just a Vegas label.

I'm sure they called bosh but it takes two to tango. Bosh has a max offer from his home state rockets and his other option is to go back to the heat with bron. I can't fault him for saying no thanks to the suns.

Hindsight is 20/20. From what's been made public through insiders and the like, we had a very real legitimate chance at Lebron and we had a chance until it came down to the the last 3 teams. Had we never had a chance, as you seem to be implying, then I think you would have a point.

Atta boy BH

Really, you poo-pooers ought to go watch the '76 play off run... You get to the second round in the playoffs ... Anything can happen. Did anyone expect Dallas to win in their yr? Add assets and play ball!

It is true. Wasn't that team the last team to get in and like 42 and 40 and took the Celtics to 6 in the finals? The WC is SO close right now that any team could win it. Dallas played SA MUCH closer than Miami did and that was the 1-8 matchup. Memphis nearly beat OKC. I think any of the teams that made the playoffs in the west except Portland could have beat Miami in the finals. The only reason I don't think Portland could have was because it was their first taste of the playoffs with this squad. Rarely does a team (except the 08 Celtics win it all their first year making the playoffs, and that Celtics squad had at least two guys who had played in conf finals before, maybe 3).

You never know. OKC had the best record the year after they lost Harden...yes, they actually had a better win % with Martin in that role....but Westbrook went down, paving the way for another team to have home court, which was, of course SA benefitting from another injury. But luck plays a big factor in the playoffs too. We should know that by now. And we are DUE for some good luck in the playoffs GOD DAMMIT!

The cool thing about having Lebron in Phoenix would have been having nationally televised and Christmas games. AND having Ray Allen on the team.

Suns could still offer Bosh max. Houston is offering max but has to move several people to create the space. I don't think that one is a done deal yet. Not sure Houston has the assets to get rid of Lin's contract.

I don't really understand what this means :-? I wasn't aware we had a Bledsoe "situation"

Bledsoe has been waiting to sign until after LeBron has made his decision. He is telling us this so we can go ahead and get the Bledsoe deal done without LeBron holding it up any longer.

I just knew we were not getting Lebron. And I know the Pacers and Celtics were in conversations with the Suns.

Did you hear about the three team deal before you heard we were out of it with LeBron? Could that have been a deal do you think could now be off the table because Dragic was involved and they want to keep him?

A little strange we are just giving him a max offer sheet, though I guess it could have been to prevent him from taking one with another team. You never know for sure he will get one though until he does. Hopefully he can stay healthy and hopefully we keep Dragic.

Oh, and do you know if this is the FULL five year max like the one Kyrie got (5 years $90 million)?

What about making a last run here at Melo and Bosh and let them know they can play together if they choose Phoenix?

Bledsoe Dragic Melo Bosh Plumlee

Sounds like a championship contending team to me. Times like this I wish I was in the same room with MCD and Sarver.

I think that was kind of the main point of our pitch to LeBron...

These guys simply aren't going to choose Phoenix. These decisions are more than basketball decisions. In Carmelo's case, it is more about being a celebrity and getting hype than winning basketball games.

Time to move on to other options...if there are any.

Nice to finally see someone else mention Pierce. He's a better fit than anyone and probably a good leader/mentor for Warren. Only wants $9-$10 million to and wants to play 1 or 2 more years. Perfect...not big money or long contract....better player than Deng and cheaper.

Well if Lebron is going to Cleveland, why not do the same pitch but to Bosh and Melo? I think it's too late.
