Utah now has a better core than we do. Honestly we need to hand out pink slips.

And they beat Houston by 18 tonight.

I could see the Jazz offering Knight the max and us not matching or doing s S&T for a future pick. Knight/Exum/Hayward/Favors/Gobert is legit.

It would be great if they could somehow get it together in the remaining games to make noise in playoffs. The post season is always more entertaining with evened out teams.

I thought Rondo would be great for them but they never addressed their rebounding issues.

I always thought Rondo would be a terrible fit for Dallas. Actually thought he would be a terrible fit for most teams in the Western Conference as we play a more uptempo style. Rondo would fit well with the likes of Memphis and maybe the Bulls. I hope he goes to the Lakers over the offseason.

That's the thing though. The Mavericks are an older team on average but they also have a good mix of young, fast pace players (Ellis, Parsons, Aminu) and older, slower players (Dirk, Chandler, Amare). Being the good PG Rondo is, I thought he would be a good facilitator in the half court set favouring the older players and in the running game favouring the younger players.

I also hope Rondo signs with LA. For A LOT of money

After watching that epic Cavs vs Spurs OT showdown where Kryie went ham im not sure if I will be able to bring myself to watch another Suns game the remainder of this season. The sorry excuse of a product we put out on the floor just pales in comparison. A whole different league in talent and coaching

Moments ago Bucks had 11 assists and 10 of them came from Ennis.

This trade is gonna be so, so bad in retrospect. Seems like Ennis might even be a better piece than the LA pick down the road. His per 36 stats are solid, moreover he looks good. He'll probably improve his shooting as well. God I hated and hate this trade. Especially since I don't think knight will be worth anything near what he will cost. Ennis on his rookie deal >> Knight on anything above 8-9 per.

Same here... Ennis+Plumlee+LA pick for a chance to overpay another positionless guard in free agency? :nonono:

Thats a pretty big reach in the league of point guards, but the Bucks do have a good young core. Surround a pure pass first PG with Parker and Giannis, have a cpl shooters, and some athletic bigs to rebound, protect the rim, and catch the P'n'R alley-oops, have some good bench guys, and a good coach, voila, you'll be in the top 5 in the east next yr without even realizing it... That's where they are at now, even with Sanders going nuts. Where would they be if he was sane? They have an OK draft pick to pick up a shooter or another big, or to make another trade with it and some other asset they have (Mayo, Dudley, Ilyasova, whoever - depending who/what they are targeting). So yeah, they are going in the right direction.

For the 1068th time you can't use a player's per36 in an argument when he averages 15 minutes per game at Milwaukee. Yes Ennis passing looks good but Jesus you guys are overrating him. He is basically Kendall marshall 2.0 with a bit more athleticism and no 3 point shot. He had good passing and vision, an awful shot and no defense. If you've been watching any vision of the Milwaukee games his defense has been sub par which has been said by Milwaukee fans too who want to overrate him more than anyone else.

I see absolutely NO WAY he ever becomes an all star. I'd be surprised if he ever averaged over 15/10/4 in a season. If he lives up to what he looks like I could see maybe 10/8/3/1 on 38/30/80 shooting.

The Knight trade is probably the most upsetting trade since Hedo Turkoglu because of how much we gave up, the LA pick will be a high lottery pick (I'm not at all sold on this idea that the Lakers will suddenly improve next season). I would not be surprised if we're going to be forced to pay Knight the max (or near). I said this on the day of the trade, and I feel even stronger about it now, we should have kept the LA pick + Ennis + Plumlee (or moved the latter in a different deal) and instead go after 3D guy like Danny Green in the offseason for half the money we're eventually going to have to pony up for Knight.

I really hope I'm wrong about this though and either Knight will completely surprise me or McD has some master plan to flip Knight for an Allstar big... but I'm very pessimistic about both.

Calm down, people.
The difference maker in this trade is the Lakers' pick.
Plumlee actually had a negative value, so Philly need to take a really good prospect to make me even mad that.

Hated that we traded Ennis. I just hope we get a Nash-style reunion with him in the not too distant future
