We out here.

I kind of avoid this board right around big events. It gets crazy with fake insiders and absolutely insane "analysis."

My wish list is still:

1. Issac
2. Tatum
3. Jackson

I just think Jackson has the most bust potential out of anyone in the top of this draft. He seems like a classic case of athlete who could dominate in college, but won't be more than a rotational player in the pros. See - MKG, Aaron Gordon, etc. His shooting splits are just too worrying and he doesn't have a + physical profile.

I also don't see how this board can still value Bender over Chriss. Chriss proved he was an NBA player last year. He actually showed the potential to be a solid starter in this league.

Bender barely played. He had about one good game. Sure, he showed off some tools, but he's still just a prospect. I would trade him 100 times before I touched Chriss.

So coming into draft day who is your 2nd target? Just out of curiosity...

Assuming we are going to trade Bled, I'd put Fox next on my board then Jackson.

I don't think there's any truth to the current Bledsoe rumor (that we are trying to dump his contract) and I hope there's no truth to the rumor we like Fox. He's not a bad pick but I don't think he's a clear upgrade over Ulis and if he isn't, he's the wrong player to bring into that locker room IMO. Flip a 3 sided coin on Jackson, Tatum and Isaac and let's speed this offseason along. Is it summer league yet? How about now?

A problem in the locker room? Not an upgrade over Ulus?

Any other baseless facts you want to add?

I'm just glad there is at least a rumor involving Bledsoe moving on

The whole point imo is to get K.P and Booker together as building blocks.

I think Bledsoe + Chriss + #4 is the trade and I dunno, I really like Chriss but it's hard to pass up D-Book and K.P + PHX medical staff.

OT: on the GB, there are two threads about KP, and Booker is getting a lot of love, a lot more than he got here yesterday when I was arguing that I'd take him over KP. It was suggested than anyone outside of Phoenix would be all over KP before Booker, and that isn't the case. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

On draft eve that screams DeAaron Fox (if pick is kept).

It could also be part of the disinformation campaign.

Think it's more like teams calling in wanting Booker, and we answer " sorry, won't do, but we'd do it with Bledsoe instead".

Smokescreens everywhere saying we aren't considering him anymore. Idk, though. If we keep the pick, wouldn't surprise me if we took him.

I knew you weren't going for that. Lol

Btw, On the NBA TV Draft Show it stated that Fox lead Kentucky is scoring in all of its tourney games.....interesting.

Fox/Booker
Tatum/Booker
Jackson/Booker

I think thats how we should look at our pick. KP's vids has me a little higher on Tatum at the moment.

I can see Tatum and Booker running trains on other teams defenses. Jackson is more of an in the flow guy......I don't know why I like ISO players so much?!!

I'm old school....I guess.

Ugh, give me Fox then! But until we draft, I am not ruling out Isaac. Don't care what Gambo said-- he was wrong last year at this time too as bw pointed out. Just saying.

Today's the day! Regardless of if it's KP, JJ, Tatum, Isaac, etc, one thing we know for sure is that the Suns will be a better team at the end of the day. Tough sleep last night with all the KP talk, and I know I'll be counting the seconds at work without a doubt. God I love draft day.

The thing about Jackson that to speaks a lot as to the value of him is that he was only the 3rd option on the offensive for the Jayhawks. So his effort and movement generated a lot of his points.

Wonder if Tatum will struggle with his lack of athleticism at NBA level, he takes a lot of tough shots.

DarealJuice do you really think if the Suns trade Bledsoe and go with Fox that we will be a better team next year? I dont think Fox's body can stand up to the beating that his inside game demands without putting on a lot of weight.

Better doesn't necessarily means wins next year.

I mean I'm personally not high at all on Fox, but if we take him at 4 then it's safe to say our FO believes in him and I'd inevitably jump on board and hope for the best. We may not be better day 1, but we're definitely adding a good piece to our young core regardless of who we draft.

How are people saying that Tatum lacks athleticism? If Boston passes on him, he would be my pick. Have him come off the bench behind Booker and TJ and I think he will do great.
