This is what matters from the Bubble for the Suns. Did everything they could on their end.

We got playoff intensity experience, showed we have heart, and played as a unit.

Worst case: We'll go into next season with confidence.

Best case: The Blazers slip up tonight, and we still get in.

We also ended up with a positive point differential for the season! Not even the grizzlies or the blazers did that!

Posted this in the game thread but will put this here too. I was one who said Igor didn't get a fair chance (still think that) but I'm very happy Monty is the coach.

I mentally accepted we were done after the Blazers/Mavs game. Thrilled we went 8-0 and showed our talent level. Maybe the Nets surprise, their coach said no minute limit for their starters. I fully expect portland to out us out of our misery early though.

Plenty of self inflicted losses mid season that are really to blame.

Now I'm also a big bucks fan so it hurt a little seeing their effort today.

Adam Silver should at least let the Nets borrow Booker for this game. Like a 1 game trade.

100%

We didn't do what we should've done in the regular season but we sacked up and did our **** job in the bubble. We accomplished what was in our control and everything else either falls in place for us or it doesn't. But hell, this is something we should be proud of and to build on

I've been watching Tim Thomas game tying three vs Lakers in game 6 of 2006 playoffs. Miss those SSOL teams. Hoping we make a huge jump and win 50+ games next season.

Tim Thomas was so damn good for that playoff run. Such a weird career for Tim. So much potential and flashes early in his career and dude was always a monster in the playoffs but he would completely mail it in every time he got paid.

Proud of the way our guys competed regardless of the results tonight. People might say that 8-0 was tainted by teams sitting their guys down the stretch, but we were missing important contributors of our own too and you can only beat the teams in front of you, which we typically did convincingly against shorthanded teams.

Deandre Ayton was my only disappointment. We were better with him on the court, but he rarely brought the same physicality and energy that the rest of the did. I like the progression on defense, even if he's still slow to rotate and lackadaisical at times. I just pray for the day that he doesn't shoot turn around jump shots over guards in the post. I like the shot being in his toolbox, but it can't be his first option.

Talk about respect....the CHANGE of the GENERAL BOARD. I would have never expected this poll result in a million years at any point this season pre-bubble.

Yeah, once again, I link when I see poll results, then go read the comments. There will probably be a lot more comments on that one though.

Pretty impressive how they turned from " Booker can't play a lick of defense", " Booker is greedy only wants to score" etc... to favoring him 4-5 months later. Zion would be leading the poll 90 to 10% pre covid pandemic.
