Are you saying that Faried and Frye are better players than Kieff?

This league has changed. The only truly positive impact big's have on the NBA game these days is defensively and on the glass.
This is a PG driven league. We have two stud PG's. Melo would be a great fit. I would love to see a lineup of
Bled
Dragic
Melo
Keif (No More 6th Man)
Plumlee
If you have watched Melo play and have watched Love play. It is no contest who the better and more valuable ball player is.

Yea I'm starting to get on the Melo bandwagon. If we can get him, we would have 3 elite scorers. Allow another year for Len to develop an he could be the rebounder we need.
That would at least get us through Dragic' prime.

More importantly, would he be okay with going from the biggest market to a small-mid market? How would he feel about joining the competitive conference (decreasing his odds of advancing in the playoffs)?
He'd be a tremendous fit, and I'm sure Hornacek's smart enough to be able to accommodate his strengths. But getting Melo should mean getting rid of the MoBros. They're similar in body type, and Markieff is best operating out of the high post. We would have to trade for a 4 who's better defensively and on the glass to pair with Melo in the front court. No question about that in my mind.

I always hate the "small-mid market" comments. Phoenix is not a small market. It is also a very desirable place to live with lots of sports figures making the valley home. Its not NY, but its not OKC, SanAntonoi, or Memphis either.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

People give Phoenix no love in anything![]()
NY
LA
Chi
Boston
DC
Philly
San Fran
Toronto
are truly the only "large market" teams.
Atlanta
Houston
Dallas
Miami
^^^^^^^^ On the verge of big, but big to me means an international destination for world travelers.

Edit: besides who would want to live in one of those over-sized cesspools anyways? I lived in Chicago, Detroit, and LA; visited Miami, DC, Atlanta, and NY (Never SF, Boston, Philly or Texas cities).
Phoenix is a phenomenal city to live in; most people have now idea how great it is. I was one of those people until I moved here. Outside of the June-mid September EXTREME heat Phoenix is a perfect city in many ways
