Hopefully he gets the pre-game message and tries doing more on offense tonight.

Reading that article, that tweet is a bit misleading. Triano is quoted as saying they'd like him to do more, and it's not like they have a problem with him, but want him to play he was earlier in the year. I don't remember him being really aggressive earlier either.

The only thing it really says relating to pleading with him, is, at the end, it says "But his teammates and his head coach are telling him, publicly, that it’s time for him to be a little more selfish."

Well the coach needs to tell him that face to face...and hopefully the coaches and players are doing that. It makes it seems that the coach is saying it publicly through that article to be more selfish...he does say he could be more aggressive and has shown signs of that.

I just feel like that azcentral tweet makes it seem like they've done something that is not necessarily indicated in that article. I mean I hope they have pleaded with him to be more selfish, but it doesn't say that in the article.

Potential of more minutes at the 5 now Monroe has been bought out.

It really doesn't matter how bad he has been playing. We have to commit to these younger players now. They need the minutes and they need to be PUSHED. If they perform badly, yank them, yell at them, and then shove them back out there. Maybe he fails, but if he does, this coaching staff needs to know they did everything they could.

The foot speed on that cut from the top of the arc.

Bender with the fluke game, too soft, very bad, McD worst gm, trade and fire.
"Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."

It is amazing how well he has played since being "called out" about his passive play's style, the last couple of weeks he is trying to score inside and he is fighting for offensive rebounds too.

I am a bit relieved because Bender and/or Chriss are crucial for our future.

With these great games from Bender he is showing a truth development before the season ends and we can count on him as a core player for years to come.

I'm really looking forward to him (and JJ) coming back from summer with another 10ish pounds of pure muscle. That will come in really handy for both on either side of the court. It'd be a dream come true if both of them made a leap next year with an impact rookie on the roster. That's the team we've been waiting for the last 5 years.

Much improved assertiveness of late.

Averaging 15.4 PPG/6.6 RPG/2.8 APG in 31.4 MPG over the last 5 games.

Shooting percentages are 53/51/87 on 10.4 FGA.

If he keeps this up, we're going to have a very good young player on our hands.

Didn't even realize! I bet more rebounds/assists/steals/blocks will come with a bit more experience and a filled frame.
Points might be a bit higher as well, but with lower efficency, he won't be shooting 50+% from 3.

Be more consistent young fella and we have another piece to go with Booker and Jackson and maybe Elfrid and the draft pick and sorry y’all sixth man TJ Warren.

We looked really good playing Bender at Center it allowed space inside the arc which helps Warren, Jackson and Payton get their preferred shots. He was also able to use the space to dribble drive or dive to the rim to create more 2s for himself.
