LAC ought to trade Deandre Jordan now. Wonder what would be considered a competitive offer.

This probably takes Blake off the market
This probably means LeBron and CP3 will not be playing together next year in LA for the Clippers

Doesn't mean LeBron might not be playing next year in LA with the Lakers

So, does this increase teams desire to get Paul George - looking right at you Danny Ainge or GM LeBron James

Should be a fun filled few days with lots of rumors. I just want to see a WojBomb

Brandon Knight traded to _____ for a conditional 2nd round pick

I have read he and Blake are pretty tight combo so if Blake stays, he might stay

Okay I did a little research. This is what I found about Griffin.
Additionally, if the LA Clippers were to re-sign Blake Griffin, he can earn up to $175 million for five years. Signing with another team limits Griffin to $130 million. Blake will be in his prime throughout this contract so the decision is urgent.

Just realized, Mr Pringles is going to have both CP3 and Harden. That's likely his wet dream. Imagine having two players with their ability to pass back in the SSOL era.

Chris Paul and James Harden is actually a really good combo IMO. Harden will not get the crazy numbers he had this past year, but there will be some defense there. There is also some injury protection.

Chandler + DJJ + Miami 2018 pick for D. Jordan?
Probably a lowball offer but I would consider to give another future pick too.

Well if Paul leaves, it will be all that much tougher for Blake to win a chip on LAC. So I guess it will all depend on if he wants the money or a possible chip.

Overall, I would rather not have him on our team. Moreover, he wouldn't be able to handle not getting the calls he gets now if he came to the Suns. Although all his crying could help out PHX lack of rainfall.

For cap reasons, I think Knight has to go with Chandler to make the $$ work

Crazy trade idea:
Suns get-
Kyrie Irving

Cavs get-
Bledsoe
2018 Miami 1st
2021 Miami 1st
2019 Suns 1st (top 5 protection)

Cavs flip those picks to get George.
Suns sign Blake Griffin

Irving/Booker/Jackson/Blake/Chriss
Ulis/Reed/Warren/Bender/Chandler

(I know BW, Cavs wouldn't do it, and Blake wouldn't even consider us anyway, oh and Irving would leave us anyway after his contract is up).

I know this is just fantasy, and I know a lot of people here don't like Irving, but damn, that team has very talented players. Blake could play PG, Irving and Booker would be our scorers, and Josh plus a beefed up Chriss would be our defensive pillars. Fun to think about at least

Irving is a hell of a player. He really stepped it up in the Finals the past couple years IMO. I am down for trading our treasure chest for him because he's a dynamic player and isn't much older than our core.

I remember how much Kurt Thomas had to adjust when he came to Phoenix, fouls are called a bit differently in the valley of the. His foul rate jumped the minute he suited up for us even though he wasn't even playing as physically as he used to, in accordance with Mike's style of play. But I think that is behind us or will be, we play a lot more physically now and I expect to see the refs adjust to our style over the coming months, maybe years.

I don't want Kyrie. He's great and all but for all of the people who have sat here and bashed the last 3 point guards we have had as ball stoppers and who want Rubio simply because he passes so much, you have to realize Kyrie is a black hole 1 on 1 point guard. He does not pass.

I am comfortable with our current direction and am not a fan of blowing it up to short cut a rebuild. Take Kyrie if he's there for a low ball offer, but trading our pick next year and both Miami picks is way too much imo. In fact, I think I'd rather have our next year's pick straight up even if it falls into the mid lottery for age and cap reasons.

I love this idea !!! We get a stud top 4 point guard at the age of 25 to develop with our young core !!

Kyrie is talented as heck but he is a ball stopper and the Suns need ball movers. That's maybe why Rubio is appealing

Booker needs the ball and Kyrie stops the ball

I'm very easy to please, I don't really care too much about whatever we do this offseason. As long as we don't do much at all, that is. It would be foolhardy to finally start developing through youth and then abandon the project while it's still in its infancy. And it is still in its infancy. We need a lot of things but we don't need anything as much as we need our young guys to learn and grow into their potential. That is likely to be hampered by trading for Kyrie or signing Blake and to what end? Are we really that worried about having to add another top rookie next year? There's plenty of room for Ayton, Bamba, Williams, Porter etc.

In my supposed trade I had us trading our 2019 pick. If we still sucked by then (with the current roster) we might as well rebuild on our rebuild.
Also I believe Irving is a very capable passer, and may have more assists if he didn't have Lebron on his squad. Also he has a better assist to turnover rate than Bledsoe/Curry/Lillard/IT/Westbrook/Harden/Dragic.

Or we get called the most for fouls like we did this past season.
