He had all the potential in the world to be great, he just didn't have it between the ears or the ribs. I absolutely believe he could have been prime Dwight with a 3 point shot. I also thought Andrew Wiggins was Tracy McGrady 2.0. I gotta listen to interviews before I buy merch lol

And it was never more obvious from interviews as it was with Ayton. He said he was in it for the money. And he kept giving cringy interview after cringy interview.

None of them are in it for the basketball more than the money. I remember when he talked about getting the second contract before the draft. I was concerned, sure, but not overly concerned, because you get the money by hooping, in theory. He'd have to hoop to get the bag, and he did for a while.

It was a HUGE red flag. Of course everyone is in it for the money, but saying it just like that is a completely idiotic. You think Wemby would say something like that? Jokic?

The guy just doesn't have any kind of competitive spirit. And then you had Doncic right there, kicking ass, getting MVP at 18 in Europe and someone who obviously loved playing basketball and being part of a team. Oh, and we had his damn coach as well. And they picked this dummy.
