Just noticed the Coyotes are battling Dallas for the final playoff spot in the NHL. Of course the other two teams in range are Minnesota and Vancouver (old home of the Grizzlies).

Yeah the coyotes could miss out by a game.
Cardinals could miss out by a game.
The suns could miss out by a game.

I look about as Australian as a bowl of rice and chopsticks, but this is strangely applicable and frighteningly true.

Are there no Cardinals fans here other than you? I made a post in the Cardinals forum a few days back about the upcoming draft and it looks dead on there. I guess there are not as many Cards fans as I hoped. I know I have a Chargers fan on my logo, but I'm a Cards fan as well.

Just have to vent that it's a joke Buford won Exec of the year.

Blazers GM acquires Robin Lopez & Mo Williams who fills absolute needs for them and turns them from playoff 'maybes' to real contenders.

Raptors GM trades Bargnani for 'something' and deals Gay away which allows the team to better mesh (something he knew could happen)

Rockets GM acquires ummm Dwight Howard!! Turns them from contenders to elite (despite how the season ended) and they get HCA in round 1.

Suns GM deals away veterans for young players and picks and it pays off, drastically improving the team into a playoff contender.

Spurs GM acquires Belinelli and I don't know what else. Pops I was OK with getting CoY. This award however, is a joke. It seems like he's getting rewarded for the teams 'best record' success as opposed to other things that makes a team improve.

Anyone who said they saw this coming is a liar.

Look man i'm sorry. They have literally choked it away. Barca still has a chance, but I know you don't care about that.

Not sure if anyone is into the power of prayer, but my three year old nephew had a brain tumor removed yesterday. He is nowhere near out of the woods, and will have to go through chemo. Having a three year old myself, I can't believe what my sister is going through.

But if anyone does pray, send a little one his way.

Though I can't claim to be a religious person in a classical sense, your nephew will be in my thoughts and spiritual prayers. Please keep us updated and if you talk to him or his parents, let them know that a whole bunch of Suns fans all over the world are pulling for him.

Thanks, I talked to both my sister and brother in law today, and I will let them know that many in the Planet Orange are pulling for them.

Count purple and gold as well. Hope your nephew recovers and goes into remission after the chemo and hopefully never gets it again.

Thank you Laker fan! My brother in law is a Sixer fan, so I think rivalries get put aside when it comes to stuff like this. :D it's just crazy to think he will have to go through chemo, and can't even get the full dose because he is under seven. I don't even want to think of the medical bills. :(

Not good news today. While running test to see if they got all the cancer, they found a bunch more cells near his cerebellum. F*cking sh*t!

So now they have to wait until he has recovered from the surgery, and then as much chemo as he can take. I can't believe how much pain he will go through, and only three years old. :(

And I can't even imagine what my sister and brother in law are going through right now. There was nothing they could do, it's a rare form of cancer, and they are just hoping it isn't also in his bone.

Jeez man that is terrible.

Only just saw your earlier posts/this one - all the best to you and your family.

Thanks, this is the worst thing to experience, and I'm not even right there. Latest update is he still can't keep any food down. So even if the cancer wasn't in the bone, he isn't strong enough for chemo.

This can't be easy since unlike falling down and scrapping a knee, it must be incredibly difficult to try and explain to a very young child why there is the pain he's feeling and even harder for him to understand why he's going through this pain :nonono: .

I'm not a religious person but your nephew is in my thoughts.

Yep, besides going crazy in your head about the possibility of losing your child, having to explain what is going on, must be difficult.

I think my sister said she told him that he needs to be a superhero and fight the evil cancer.
Thank you for your thoughts.
