TJ needs to start over Tucker... now with Chandler, Suns dont need Tucker in the paint fighting for rebounds, Chandler will scoop them up. Warren however need to start nailing 3pts to make him an outside threath, since he isnt an elite athlete, but has elite skills and elite old school feel for the game.
(Old school feel as in mid running floaters, mini hook shots, dribble pull ups 10 feet from the ring etc.) Durant is the other "old" school type SF in the game.

Goodwin is in the NBA because he either gets a dunk/layup in transition or gets fouled. And on a good matchup, he will do the same during a penetration dribble attack to the rim. A "mature" Goodwin is a star player IMO... his weaknesses are he is impatient, doesnt have middle gears he is either first or top gear...

Mike James, dude is crazy athletic... should be in the camp for sure.

Bobby Portis... my pick for the Suns (of of the 4 picks)... 24/14... wow.

Portis will have an impossible time cracking the Bulls rotation

tuned out IMO..

in a regular NBA game he is focused.

In the SL, he is trying to pad stats.. going for steals, loose rebounds and fast break opportunities.

I judge him via his regulation game effort and his fine there, maybe because he knows Hornacek will scold him if doesnt focus...

well similar to Suns drafting guards... behind Bledsoe/Knight

Bulls are stock piling PFs..

I still want Mirotic off them.

I don't think TJ will ever have 3 point game in his arsenal. He doesn't even intends to shoot 3.

So whenever TJ is in lineup, he will need Teletovic or Leuer at PF.

I'd give our lottery protected first and the CLE first for Mirotic right now and not even think twice about it.

Good hard-fought win tonight. Don't think we would have done it if Dougie McBuckets was playing.

Len with a disappointing game. He had one great low post move to the basket which I hope he can duplicate in the future.

Nice win by Suns. TJ Warren needs to show quickly that he can translate this performance to the regular season. If he does that it will put pressure on Hornacek to make decision on who to start between Tucker and Warren.

Return to Phoenix Suns
