I can see a scenario where he fades into obscurity. However, I think Boston is the perfect place for him. Good point guard, weapons, he just has to run around and hit open jumpers when he gets open....he can do that, lol.

I think the nash led suns would have been great...he would have had JJs role....i don't think our current suns team would be a good fit for Tatum thougj.

Great at drafting? Let's add it up:
One point for star, no point for neutral, negative one for bust/nothing. 2nd rounders and Euro players not counted.
Len/Goodwin: bust/nothing
Warren: neutral (bench player)
Ennis: nothing
Booker: star
Truthfully early but... Bender: bust
Chriss: meh - neutral
McD: -3
.

I must have missed this. This is obviously a list based upon a poster's opinion vice reality...now let's look at reality:

Great at drafting? Let's add it up:
One point for star, no point for neutral, negative one for bust/nothing. 2nd rounders and Euro players not counted.
Len: Neutral (Bust? Really? He had ONE bad season. His rookie season he was coming back from injury. '14-'15/'16-'17 he slashed 7.2/6.6 and 1.4 Blks per 21 MPG played. As I've 'clamored' time-and-again, play him 30MPG, and all of a sudden he's 10.3/9.6/2 BLKs...that's a bust?? Star, no, Neutral, yes)
Goodwin: Neutral (Drafted 29th at age 18, more MP,PTs than 6 players drafted in the 1st; higher FG% than 11)
Warren: "Neutral (bench player)" - huh, that's weird, he started 59 of 66 GP last year, guess the poster was referring to the 7 gms he didn't start. Still, a Neutral player, for now, but he's still just 23.
Ennis: nothing - Trade...doesn't count, so don't bother adding him in the equation
Booker: star
Truthfully early but... Bender: "bust" --- ummm, ok, yeah, 18YO Europlayer and we've got him pegged already, huh? Too early too tell. Neutral
Chriss: "meh" - So, that's what we call 19YO NBA starters, huh..."meh"??? OK, if you say so...still, he's Neutral

So, for the rest of us that live in reality, McD's score is actually +1, by these standards. If you insist on calling Len a "Bust" because he was drafted 5th, and have put up these stats, then half the top 10 that year are busts. But ok, then McD is Even so far.

Again, Len's 3rd season was asked to be something he's not, and his play suffered. This past season, he was played more within his capabilities, and his play improved.

McD: -3??? yeah, right...ok

Interesting that Chad Ford saying McD likes Jackson and that Sarver and Watson are in on Isaac and Fox. Honestly Watson liking Isaac and Fox isn't surprising at all; they have the type of attitudes that Watson seems to love. Interesting there was no mention of Tatum.

Draft Isaac at 8 if he's there? Maybe DSJ?

Book
Isaac
Chris/Bender
KP

Look at that young and talented team! No need to rush the rebuild. That team will be ready in 2 years to make a good run, especially if we can add some veteran pieces.

Don't think we can get them to include their pick, unless Noah is attached possibly.

Tim montemayor? Get out of here with this random Twitter BS. Y'all are so thirsty.

Of course PGs who can't shoot, the most likely scenario is that they remain that way EG. Mudiay / Exum / Peyton / Carter-Williams / Rubio / Marshall etc..

I think shooting will come around in time for Fox but at 170 lbs for a player who game is based off driving to the basket, I am really worried that this going to lead to a lot of injuries.

Reminds me of a big Tony Parker. The fact that he led his team in scoring every tourney game is a testament to his competitive nature.....i just wished he would have had more dimes!

Not too worried about his shooting though...seen it improve at warp speed at Kentucky. Don't think he'll ever be a grear shooter, but he'll be a great scorer with a real good shot, capable of many great shooting nights, even more importantly, shooting great during great moments.

Because it looks like Tatum is going to Boston. Gambo said he is not so he probably is. Lol

Just get Server out of there! I would be so pissed if JJ is on the board and they grab another Kentucky guard.

I realize this has been talked about ad nauseum on this board, but does anyone think we're all severely undervaluing Bender? He's got amazing skills for his size and had a rookie transition period at 18 years old that included an injury. I'm not saying he's Porzingis or ever going to be Porzingis, but everyone is so quick to dump him and basically act like he's throwaway trash at 19 years old. He's still younger than half of this draft.

I like all the interest in our pick. Hysterical about the brother of KP told someone, it reminds me of Ferris Burller's day off, with Kristy Swanson.

I cringe everytime I see Sarver's name mentioned in relation to actual basketball decisions. GTFO dude.

Frankly don't like Watson that much either lol.

I'd like to keep him. I like his attitude and his overall game. I think he could be a very special player very soon.

I'm actually not down on Bender at, I don't want to dump him or throw him away. There's a very unique set of skills there that's absolutely worth developing.

I'm just in the camp that I would deal him or Chriss in a heartbeat if it got us Porzinigs. That doesn't mean I'm down on either of them, I just love KP.

That that's the price does not surprise me. That we're hesitant to pull that trigger does not surprise me. I would expect us to try to find a third team willing to take lesser assets (like TJ or MIA picks) to send something to substitute for Chriss in that deal.

Chemistry is critical, and Quese is a big part of what we've got going on here.

Oh yeah, I think most severely undervalue him.

I think Bledsoe + Chriss + #4 is the trade and I dunno, I really like Chriss but it's hard to pass up D-Book and K.P + PHX medical staff.

Yeah, in theory that trade should get it done but I think our owner really like Chriss. The rumor was that the owner wanted Chriss last year in the draft and the GM wanted Bender...so they ended up with both.
