the first thing i thought when I saw earl clark traded was that it was a clash of personalities from his bosses, I thought the Magic got a sleeper, he's in the mold of a stretched out Lebron. Tank point-forward who can guard 4 or 4 positions and now he had Dwight Howard on his team. crazy

I hope Earl sh*ts on other teams, and the Suns regret trading him. I thought he would become something special, but never in Phoenix, because Grant Hill, Jared Dudley, amongst other wings would be before this guy.

Pietrus is a soon to be 29 year old journeyman who has averaged 8.7 pts/gm for his career. His average TO's for his career is 1.1/gm. That's higher than his assists average of 0.8/gm. This is NOT someone you build around. He'll be a good sub. If he's more than that, the Suns future is pretty bleak.

Completely agree. I think at times people develop such attachment for our excellent bench role players that they elevate said bench player to starter status. I have seen posts where people say we should rebuild around Dragic, Dudly and/or Frye. Again, very good bench players, but no way are they starter quality for 82 games.

Mavericks fan here.... been watching the suns on league pass recently, since their trade at least and they're starting to look pretty good. You have a respectable interior defense now with Gortat, and Vince/Petrius has really helped you on both sides of the floor, J-Rich was an awful perimeter defender IMO.

Don't know if your championship contenders - unless you establish some fantastic chemistry together - but could definitely see you making it to the 2nd round of the playoffs, possibly WCF if Vince doesn't disappear in the playoffs. Respectable play-off team with a core of good vets.
