You guys are murdering Markieff for his assault case, a case where the person who got hit says Kieff didn't hit him, but you want to bring in a guy who had videos of him getting into fights on the street come out two months ago.

It's actually amazing how inconsistent you guys are. Like a bunch of crows attracted to the newest shiny object.

On top of that, Kieff isn't worth a mid round first because of his alleged transgression, but you're willing to send out MULTIPLE picks including an unprotected first for Jah?!!?

Wow.

That is what Okafor did? I knew he did something because I said earlier in this thread why would Jerry Colangelo consider trading a rookie with stats like his. Totally makes sense now. Colangelo does not put up with guys that do stuff like that. That is why myself as well as many others said Colangelo would never have kept players like the Morris brothers or Tucker after their off the court issues. Just no point.

Lol so true

I agree to a point. Markieff was considered a bargain contract when the cap was $60mil. Now that it will grow to over $90mil, yes, he still has good value as a player......in the right circumstances.

As far as Okafor, i have absolutely no interest in him. As a player he'll be good, but not at the cost of our 2016 First. IF we were talking about a Towns on the Sixers, with them looking to trade him...then yes i'd be all over it in a heartbeat. BUT, we arent.

Kieff's value is in either:
a.) being sent to a team ON or CLOSE to his brother no matter the record
b.) being sent to a championship caliber team, where he has something to play for.

What!?! Charles SPIT ON A FAN before he came to Phoenix. Jerry Colangelo PUNCHED A CHICAGO FAN IN THE FACE during the finals in 1993.

Just stop pretending the stuff with Markieff is so crazy that we need to deal him. It's so dumb.

I do not think that Okafor is available at all...the guy is an amazing post player with a ton of upside.
He can be like Cousins in two years, I do not know if he is a bigger headcase or if his problems are behind him already.

“Being as though Archie is like my little brother, I felt more bad about it once I seen it. Because I know how I am. With a little guy once I get mad, it’s like I turn into the Hulk. It’s one of those things with my little brother, so it was a tough thing to actually see me act like that toward somebody that I’ve got a lot of love for.”

Makes absolutely zero sense for a rebuilding team to trade this guy. Jerry Colangelo is now in charge of that organization and must see something he does not like if he is willing to trade Okafor. Makes me very skeptical about Okafor.

Exploring trade options for Okafor could simply mean that Embidd is showing promise. Additionally the 76ers might have Saric and Simmons on their roster next year as well.

Okafor is a legit low post option and I think he'll mesh a lot better with Len than Noel.

I would offer either:

Bledsoe + Keiff + Warren

or

Suns unprotected pick + Keiff + Archie Goodwin

Remember who you are dealing with here. The Sixers would consider trading a Steph Curry equivalent if it meant the other team was packaging a top 60 protected pick. The Sixers also are reported that they are willingly to take on bad contracts; just using Keiff or Chandler + the unprotected pick would probably get the job done. Both players would be expired by the time Philly actually has stopped it's hoarding stage and are poised for the playoffs, and are ready to make deals for players of actual value that have been in the league for more than four years.

seems like Kieff has gone through 5 stages of grief.

Denial: "lol this a foul game man. I am the Suns premier player. they wouldn't just trade my brother without informing me first.

Anger: the social media wars & rants on the Philadelphia radio regarding the Suns franchise

Bargaining: demands a trade, says he will be gone before the start of the season.

Depression: just has seemed off more than usual since the start of season. He doesn't even complain to refs any more that much, and doesn't bother with shaving.

Acceptance: has stated "I want to be in Phoenix" and recently that he doesn't want to be traded.

and I will postulate a sixth stage: Delusions. He thinks he's the Hulk, and has replaced Marcus Morris with Archie Goodwin as his younger brother lol

Cousins plays defense. I see Okafor more in the Monroe/Kanter mold.

Please no to Okafor. Centers that don't defend are the type of player I would avoid. Could as well trade for Kanter who would be much much cheaper to get. And don't want any more players with character issues. We already have at least one too much

I got first pick first time.
Second pick second time.
Third
Second
Fifth with Sixer's getting third and fourth.
I have faith we'll get a solid player this summer.

You are more lucky than I am. I got Suns dropping to 4th, 5th or even 6th more than climbing up. It makes me a little worried. What a disappointment would it be if after all this season all we got is 6th pick.

Just lose these 5 games... 2 against the Lakers, Wolves and 1 against the Nets.

Nets Feb 25
Nuggets Mar 10
Twolves Mar 14
Lakers Mar 18
Lakers Mar 23
Kings Mar 25
Twolves Mar 28
Jazz Apr 3
Pels Apr 9
Kings Apr 11

Who has the stronger tank? <Insert picture of Suns Tank here>

Wouldn't mind playing D-leaguers heavy minutes in those games.

this last page was one of the funniest I've read. The GetYourPHX meltdown on Okafor, The 6 stages of Kieff's "disease" and the Barkley pic (with the inch difference on each angle) were pure gold.

In 5 years time we are going to look back at this and think, the no.1 issue we spent 6 months discussing was whether or not to trade:

Markieff Morris.

------------------

It would be like doing this in 2010 with Robin Lopez.

In 5 years we all be grateful for Markieff that he help us tank to get Simmons. When he will be receiving his finals MVP awards 8-)

In 5 years we will all be looking back at times when we thought this organization had hope to turn things around with guys like Hedo Turkoglu, Michael Beasley, Shannon Brown on their rosters....
Suns wasted the golden years they got.
If they only had an owner like Cuban who is crazy about doing everything there is for his team.
