Now that makes sense. Hadn't thought of that a cost controlled player for the Cavs who should be a good bench guy. Nice deduction.

I was thinking if it was going to happen in the next couple of days maybe it would be Bled, Chriss, Reed and the Miami pick, or take Chriss out, add Warren and do a top 5 protected pick. But I checked his signing date and it would have to be Friday.

Yeah, if we trade Jackson, that would suck.

I wouldn't add Reed to a deal either. I loved what I saw from him in SL. He will be a great 3andD guy behind booker. You need rotation pieces.

We have such a young team there is no reason to throw away our future. We wont compete NOW. See how we do this season see who improves. See how chriss, Bender, Jackson, and Reed play...And then go from there after another year while also acquiring another top pick in next years draft.

We are at no point right now to trade for a superstar....Not at all...I don't get.

This is the part I don't understand.

- You pass on Butler because of price, and stay out of free agent marked.
- You draft a player many see as the second best project in the draft.
- You hold a press conference preaching patience.
- You then trade for Kyrie, who is a much worse fit than Butler, for a much better package than Chicago got?

Insanity, if true.

Well, the truth is Bledsoe is in no-man's land when it comes to Phoenix. He is just out of the age range of our core. Thus, trading for a PG is somewhat more ideal since it replaces Bledsoe. Butler is 27, while Kyrie is 25, and fits a bit better in a Bledsoe-centric deal. That said, I am not sure it is more than Butler got to begin with. I would personally much rather have Lavine and Lauri (plus Dunn) as a rebuilding team over Bledsoe, Chriss, and the Miami pick. Lavine really turned the corner last year. If you believe he will come back from his ACL fine (which is typical in today's sports world), he is the most valuable person in either Chicago or Cleveland's return, and Lauri is also very well thought of.

If you mean trading Jackson--then I agree. That would be more than either team got and I wouldn't be happy with that move. That said, I don't believe Jackson is going.

if you don´t want to give up anything, than you can´t do a trade. i don´t see reed with much playing time, maybe he was a monster at summer leaugue but that doesn´t mean anything.

i would love if we get Irving, he could be that pg after kj/Kidd/Marbury/nash..

Props to the great one

My question is, does anyone see Bledsoe improving anymore from last season or do you agree that this is his peak and his value will never be higher than it is right now (As a Sun)?

With out a doubt he is at his peak and the value we get for him now is probably the highest it will be. Just trading to trade doesn't make sense though.

The suns done need Kyrie. Not now. If he wants to sign with us in a couple years when he is a FA why not.

I don't want to trade Warren.

My final offer would be.... Bledsoe, 2018 Suns pick (Top 3 protected for a couple of years, after that unprotected) and Reed. That is a really good final offer for the Cavs IMO.

If they want to add Shumpert/Frye or receive Dudley/Chandler I would agree too.

If the Knicks want a PG so bad I would give them Bledsoe for Frank straight up no picks involved.

Ulis can run the show he already proved it...

Then we have a new young PG in the wings to see what he will be and our rebuild is off to the races.

Ulis/Frank
Booker/Reed
Warren/Jackson (or however it turns out)
Bender/Chriss
Williams/Chandler

That looks good to me then next year we pick up another top prospect who some are saying will be filled with great big men to complete our rotations.

Kyrie/Ulis
Booker/Shumpert
Jackson/TJ
Chriss/Bender
Chandler/Sauce

That team looks solid and with a lot of upside.

Quite frankly if you look at what other teams have gotten for stars recently, the Cavs would be lucky to even get a player like Bledsoe in return.

Jackson must stay period. Every good team has a player that thrives on doing the dirty work.

Iguadala, Marion, Draymond Green, Ariza, older Grant Hill and even Pippen.

Jackson is in my opinion... The same mold of player as above. Athletic, scrapper, all rounders, proud defenders etc. Tucker satisfies half of those traits mind you but he simply lacked offensive skills and athleticism.

Booker can't guard a witches hat if he tried... He'll score heaps though. Irving if he comes... Is also another defensive liability, most high scoring point guards are.... Chris Paul excluded. Bledsoe used to be a decent defender but probably half-azzes it these days because everyone else on the team is terrible anyways.

Jackson must stay.... Or else it's a sideway move and Suns will regret it.

Bledsoe, Warren and a choice of Heat's top 7 protected 2018 pick or Suns top 5 protected 2018 pick which protection carries over until 2020.

In reality Bledsoe and ONE of Warren or a pick is actually enough, since Irving wants out and only 2 years locked in.

Suns are a bad team even with Irving next season unless they get a new coach and get another veteran star level player, so that 2018 and even 2019 pick isn't going anywhere without protection.

Suns are leading the offers...unless Pelicans surrender Cousins for Irving or Nuggets add 2 picks with Murray, but that would be stupid for them since that's an overpay.

What is it about warren that people don't like? Where they just add him as a trading chip...

I'm so confused...
