His shot is that off

Except that he was 5-6 from 3 in the last game, and 5-5 in the first half. He played a lot with Bledsoe in the second half and was basically forgotten about.

Bledsoe did it once too. I loved it when they did it because you could see Frye acting like a b**tch and crying for the ball but Dragic and Bled basically giving him the middle finger.

Hopefully that will motivate him to actually hit the shots he takes and play on both ends of the court.

One game don't make up for a season.
But I agree he did have a good game last game.

But they literally ignored frye in that 2nd Q

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Yeah, it was weird...happened right when Frye came in. (+5...leads the team)

Our spacing got a lot better, which led to open lanes and layups for our guards, as well as a wide open three.

Pretty sure the run started before Frye came in, as I recall it was around when Shavlik came in.

Most of our run came about by fast breaks which doesn't really have anything to do with half court spacing.

And Frye's poor play was the reason we went down big in the first place, with his 3 blown defensive assignments and airball 3. We stabilized once he went out. What was his +\- at the time of his first substitution?

I agree with your general premise Soles and I do think there is value in Frye's spacing, but to try and sell it on today's merits is a bit of a stretch IMO. Sure, today's dog act performance thus far is more exception than rule but you have to call it how it is.

You guys are both being pretty ridiculous. Frye is the reason we are winning right now. Look at his +/- right now. LOOK AT IT.

Frye was huge almost all season, which wasn't expected considering he missed the entire previous season+. I'm fairly certain fatigue played a large part in his shooting struggles. He should be more in shape next season.

Having another sharp shooter on the team will have similar effects as Frye.

Ideally a big man PF/C... Hence why Markieff Morris or Marcus needs to be consistent 3pt threaths next season.

Basically suns are better with a player who stretches out defense... Spurs were similar with Bonner... But Popovic obviously smart enough to realize he can't rely on always having a big man shooter on court as they are likely giving up rebounds and defense inside... What does he do? He adds 3 wing men shooters, to keep defenses stretched out for Parker to get inside etc.

Suns cannot rely on Frye, they need a sharp shooting wing man and then have a doubl double big man to draw attention.

It's not Frye... But the idea of Frye... Shooter to spread defenses away from paint.

Credit to Frye this quarter though, he's hit his first few and set the tone early.

Man, I hate Frye, he keeps scoring and our offense is better while he is in the game.

This is the hardest Dragic has played on defense all season...which is kinda weird because he's playing with a bum ankle.

Bledsoe also doing a magnificent job on Conley who is one of the star PGs in this league.
