While I don't disagree, there have been multiple "quiets" before no storms so far. Haha but this one could be legit since Suns had/are having their last meeting with LBJ today.

Well I've pretty much written off the chances of Lebron in Phoenix and I'm alright with that. I want to know what our plan B is.

So if the Suns traded them for Love, they would still have 31.5 million dollars in available cap space. A max for lebron is 20.7 million, so that leaves 10.8 for other free agents, which they could theoretically give to Pau.

11m in cap-holds bruh...

No I am including the cap holds, especially with Frye no longer having a cap hold on the team. His was almost 10 million. Look at this quote from the Yahoo article last week: "The Suns have $33.5 million in salary-cap space and could shed the next $10 million needed to sign James and Anthony to maximum contracts without unloading the young core of guards Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic and center Miles Plumlee that pushed the franchise to 48 victories in the Western Conference last season."

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/suns-to-pu ... 46302.html

So with Frye now signing with Orlando his $9.6 million cap hold comes off the books.

We now have $43 million in cap space available? Is this correct?

Like I said LeBron is not leaving Miami. He is using Cleveland and Phoenix to buy time Until Chris bosh leaves.

Still tasty tidbits all the same.

I'm curious mostly because I'm new here, what stuff has ray ray been able to tip us off on? It looks like he's one of those guys that posts something and everyone goes nuts. I love those kinds of board members because it always makes for some great debates and keeps everyone coming back and hitting refresh.

Keep up the info ray ray, I know a lot of us really appreciate the bits of info you pass along. I got almost no work done today between this board and twitter, lol.

Not saying I don't believe or trust Ray Ray, but I can't put my head around how you would vet someone leaking vague info.

But Ray Ray, keep em coming...I enjoy reading them!

Lets just say that its a process. Research is done. Sometimes phone calls are made. Sometimes there is even juicier in depth info that is given to Mods that cant be leaked out to the board, that has come true.

If a person has been verified and vetted, their info and status is good.

As for the "Vague" part, sometimes the info is given to them vague and sometimes its just left vague to protect their source our the Suns overall interests in general. It would suck to leak something out that the league gets a hold of and backfires whatever great move we were making.

I didn't doubt you it just seemed odd. I've seen Ray Ray tell us things, so I definitely believe he knows stuff. It just seems weird that you would want to vet these people. Could scare some off.

I believed Ray Ray to always be genuine and I wouldn't have felt the need to vet him. I just trusted the dude. But I know you like to check people out who post here.

No actually they get the 33.5 by renouncing Frye's rights. Now they do not have to anymore because his cap hold disappears since he has agreed to sign with a different team. The only cap hold they would keep is Bledsoe's. They can keep Tucker's if they want and there are small cap holds for their new rookies. Here is a good breakdown of it: http://www.basketball-reference.com/contracts/PHO.html Also remember that Smith's, Christmas', and Randolph's contracts are not guaranteed for next season.

Not wishing but that seems more realistic than James leaving wade and Riley out for dead.

What does Lebron owe Wade and Riley? He's not sticking around for a gimp and a snake.

If LeBron can leave Cleveland and tear their heart out with "The Decision", he has no problem leaving Wade and Riley in the dust.

I just spoke with couple good sources, my wife's Doula and midwife, who say that if Lebron is out, expect that we sign Stephenson to near max deal and trade Dragic and a pick for K. Love.

As much as I'd hate to see Dragic go, If he does I think we gotta bring Bogdan's ass over here with the quickness.

Lebron did that because he wanted to be popular and earn money for charity while building his brand. I'm sure he didn't expect that type of reaction from Cleveland or he wouldn't have done it that way. His free agency in 2010 was the most talked about day for 2 years before he even became a free agent. So he went big. I'm a suns fan I would live Bron in phx, but be real. Wade is his best friend. Miami is his new home and he loves it here.
