Tobias for 12 MD per year when Carroll is getting 15 MD?

Right. That's not happening. He's going to probably want somewhere near $17-20 mill a year.

We absolutely cannot beat what the Spurs are offering, nobody panic when he does sign with SA.

Agreed.
The Suns can beatwhat the Blazers are offering - possibly

Rocket - probably not though they have to clear cap spac

The Raptors just gave a boatload to Carroll so maybe Toronto ismore temptng

Lakers - nobody should go there unless it is lifestyle driven

Spurs -Suns can'tbeat the Spurs. I am hoping but agreed, if he goes to SA, it makes sense

and Carroll for 60/4 - no way. good luck

Well if he comes here he's the man. They can try and pitch him on that, and working towards a ring. But if he's ring chasing he's gonna sign with SA.

Alderidge has kids in San Antonio and Dallas. The deck is just stacked. San Antonio can make the space, they can argue for being a contender, and they lucked out that he has kids in town (under what circumstances, I don't know). Maybe Phoenix needs better groupies. Or maybe we need to start recruiting the ex's of potential NBA free agents to move to town first.

Looks like we're all in on Love and Aldridge since our two targets cited from Coro( Green and Carroll) are gone.

Will Suns talk with Love like LMA? I didn't see any news about it.

Doesn't seem like Aldridge will make it out of San Antonio, and I haven't heard anything about Love.

Dallas would come out nicely if they end up with Jordan and Matthews. If this happens and Chandler isn't signed and traded to the Clips, we could go after Chandler as our vet leader.

Wasn't there also a rumor that Dallas may make an offer to Brandon Knight?

Chandler has been an unapologetic ring-chaser, I see very little chance he comes here barring a big overpay. And even then, he has a well-earned reputation of taking plays and even games off if his heart isn't in it.

So now it becomes a question of just what in the hell we have to offer Aldridge that San Antonio doesn't?

i feel like things have been happening refreshingly quickly compared to last year, but that's mostly because Lebron pretty much held everything up for everybody

When the appointment time comes, the entire Suns team should walk into the room and everyone of them should tell him they want him to lead them at the pf position.

If you could pull that off, it would make an impact.
