While walking back to the court spoke with Suns fans with gear on. Just a cool dude.. Never would have known it if he wasn't playing on our team.

Warriors look soooo unstoppable, holy crap.

Curry not playing the 1st qtr and yet Ws still had the lead on LAC.

Basically getting at that we've never had a center that dominates on the defensive end and a top rebounder, something we desperately needed in the Nash era.. It's nice to not be known of a team that doesn't rebound and can't defend.

One thing to realize is that if Tyson was in the middle then, then Amare wouldn't have been nearly as dominant. The team did well because they spread the floor with four outside shooters and Amare free to dunk in the middle. What you have to wonder is what if Tyson was their INSTEAD of Amare...could dunk AND play D and protect the rim. Don't get me wrong, I love Amare, but the team wouldn't have clicked as well with two bigs in the middle. That's why those teams transformed the NBA into what it is now.

Really good win for the Suns tonight. Beat up on a team playing without its star player like you are supposed to in your home arena. This was the type of game that the Suns usually did not win last season.

I think the guards can still play smarter, but I think the more they play with him, the smarter they will play. Plus being near the league leading teams in rebounding. That is another ENORMOUS change from prior years. Just that alone will keep us in games, but the rim protection, vocal presence, leadership, everything is really going to help these guys mature faster. Bled and Knight are set a little more in their ways so it will take longer for them to play a little smarter, but for the younger guys, it is huge.

I agree! Without Tyson (in years past) we would struggle putting away teams without their superstar and lose these games that should be easy wins because of a teams schedule or them missing their star. This is the type of stuff that the leadership helps when the team is mentally approaching a game they should win. Everyone is held accountable.

And we havent been out rebounded in any of the games. That is amazingly different.

I hate knights game.

I wish the Suns never gave up those assets for him. Money could of been spent elsewhere

Great win by the baby Suns. I barely watched this game but loved seeing us nail down 3's I believe we shot 62% from there and had 7 players in double figure scoring. Also, this was our 5th straight game in which we out rebounded our opponents that hardly ever happened in the past 10 years. Suns can rebound and defend now I'm so excited. :D

It's all well and good to say there were better options, but what were those options?

I'm pretty happy with it all.

Just face it, Suns RealGM message board 2015-2016 is the year of dissatisfaction. Or maybe that's just our board's disposition.

That could have possibly been mitigated if D'Antoni tried to work on Amare's post game so he wouldn't have to always have an open lane in the middle to score but it seemed he was content to let Amare play face up.

Amare last season in NY was a very effective low post scorer so you have to wonder what could have been if he had worked on that when he was with the Suns, he did post up a bit early on in his career but seemed to go away from that as the years went on.

He was almost an All Star in the East and I wonder if his name will even be on most ballots now for the West lol.

He had a nice second half. His shot selection still blows though.

If Knight got rid of the long two jumper he takes where he has one foot on the line, he would be 10x more efficient and score maybe 2x as much points as well.

Bucks fans had the same complaint about him last year, I don't get why neither Kidd nor Hornacek could get him to stop taking that.

Missed the game, my friend is running sound for the X Ambassadors, and got to see their show. I'm glad we were hitting our shots from three, and from some of the replays, some decent plays by our squad. Just imagine if our shots were falling the other night, we could be 4-1.

We weren't ready for it. We were flat the whole game. Plus that damn Powell guy kept falling over and getting to the line. I think he shot more free throws than our backcourt.

He is clearly out of shape. Warren, Tucker, Markieff and Leuer are better players right now and deserve the minutes.
Hopefully he improves his conditioning and can play more minutes, he is a good player when healthy.

It could have worked at times since Amare had a decent mid range game since the 2009-10 team often played Lopez in the middle and also Grant Hill wasn't the best stretch 3. But since Tyson is a great finisher, you really like him close to the middle at all time, which means Amare would have had fewer of those monster pick-n-roll dunks.

Yes, a few people that don't post any more (good posters) have PM'd to say they don't want to post because it has become so depressing and miserable here. I can somewhat understand because to me, being a fan makes me want to find things to be excited about as opposed to always looking for things to complain about. The Chargers, for example, are having a terrible year due to a ton of close losses, mostly to good teams, and although heartbreaking, that's just part of being a fan. I don't spend too much time complaining about them because what happens is out of my control. Sure I will complain here and there but I won't sound like a broken record with it...it's kind of pointless.
