All these changes are about energy. We've been flat for too long.

You realize he's not doing this to build the youngsters up, right? He's doing this because his job is on the line so he's doing what he thinks is most likely to win this individual game. I have wanted Tucker benched and traded for awhile, so I'm fine starting Warren. I completely disagree with benching Knight. But what I most question is how a brand new lineup in which none of the guys have played a single minute together as a unit gives you the best chance of winning. It really makes me question Hornacek even more.

I still think Knight and Bledsoe will both play 32-35 minutes, but hopefully one is on the floor at all times...that is what I was expecting coming into the season.

No PJ. I wonder if he pissed off Hornacek.

Also, while Knight has struggled of late, with how he's performed on the year, benching him is nonsense. I like Booker as much as anyone, but Knight's our 2nd best player.

Agree. Starting Warren makes sense though so I hope this doesn't dissuade him in the next games.

The guy is coaching for his job and he threw a lineup out there that had played 0 minutes together this season. And we got blown out. That's bad coaching imo, even if the minutes even out.

this is not a huge game. Not sure what that statement means.

Yeah it is. Our coach may be fired depending on how this game goes. Look at our upcoming schedule, and this is maybe our most winnable in this brutal stretch, and add in the fact that if we are looking at the playoffs, Utah is basically our main competition assuming Houston pulls their heads out of the gutter (and they have been playing better lately). It's a huge game, particularly for Hornacek.

Did you expect the lineup to give us a dominating lead or something? Honestly, what is it that you expected out of em? Of course they got blown out, but if we want them to gel we gotta get em playing together sometime, and it may take some time before they find that chemistry. Doesn't make me question Hornacek at all, and I don't think he's doing it because his job is on the line. There might be something behind the scenes that caused him to make the roster adjustment.

I think Bledsoe and Leuer have played quite a bit with Booker and Warren. I was going to say I thought you wanted Warren to start? Don't you think our bench would REALLY suffer without either Warren or Knight on it? I also don't really want Warren to be the 3rd option playing with both Knight and Bledsoe.

If this was about getting our young guys PT, Len would've started too. I'm glad our young guys are playing, but I see this as a negative for Hornacek given the context.

I agree it's huge for Hornacek, and that he might be fired if we lose and especially if we lose one of the next two. But our next two games are Denver and Philly at home so those are more winnable than playing in Utah. I do somewhat agree it is huge. Any game for the Suns at this point where they are not a big underdog is a must win if they want the playoffs.
