How can you possibly blame Watson for this lol? I'm curious. He didn't have 26 turnovers, he didn't go ice cold the entire 4th quarter like our starters and the bench unit that opened the quarter.
He constantly gets his rotations wrong.

Bender was playing well should have let him play a bit more and Alan Williams should have been brought in when both Len and Chandler got into foul trouble.

So who should have been in at the end then?

Our final lineup of Bledsoe, Knight, Booker, Tucker, and Len couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in the 4th. Dudley wasn't shooting well tonight and would've been a mismatch on KAT or Wiggins if we played him at 4 or 3 at the end, Ulis looked bad in the second half, Barbosa didn't make a shot all night, Chandler had 4 fouls in 11 minutes and couldn't play defense without fouling, and Chriss went completely cold in the 4th and missed 3 wide open shots in a row. Bender looked decent in limited time tonight, be he isn't going to make up for us getting out scored by 21 in the 4th. You have to score to win, and no one on our team could do that tonight besides Bledsoe.

I watched this game delayed. I thought we had it under control.

Then while browsing facebook on my tablet (while watching the game), I saw the final score on my news feed.

"WTF? How???? 85 points? We have 75 now and it's only the 3rd quarter."

WTF. WTF. WTF.

How?

We just are not very good. :(

Alex Len was embarrassing tonight. His effort is so low. I don't care what his numbers show, he's a sad player to watch. So happy to have Tyson back. Alex Len is so soft.

Suns have to get rid of Knight and Tucker. They are really useless. I would love Alex Len gone too. Three players, get them out.. soon.

More minutes for Bender, Chriss and Ulis.

After watching that game, makes me wonder how someone would spend money to watch the Phoenix Suns live. I couldn't do it..

I went to the game. 6th row center court. For all those criticizing Len. He is a dominant force on the court even when he is not playing well. It's amazing how often wolves players avoided the middle the moment Len came into view.

Booker was horrible, worse than the stats. Dumb fouls, turnovers, would not take a shot. Ulis looked bad too. Bledsoe looked very good. Knight, while not shooting well always seems to frustrate his defender. He brushes by his defender creating contact and fouls.

One ref kept calling moving screens all night in both teams. They were all frustrated with it. Lots of bad calls both ways. This was a poorly officiated game.

Lavines dunk was amazing. But Wiggins just turned it on in the 4th and the Starting an just fell apart.

Chriss had KAT for a defensive assignment all night. He did a decent job until the 4th.

What a shocker. Len is pure trash. Tucker gets 28 minutes. Bender with 7. I'm not sure why we are playing Booker. He is obviously injured. Warren injury still a mystery. Watson is an idiot. This franchise just kills me.

Jcsunsfan - Len and dominant don't go well in the same sentence. This whole season, any time Len has been in the paint, easy shots for opponents have come.

Suns have missed Tyson. I don't mean to always pick on Len but he's definitely not a player that opponents think twice about coming in the paint, I honestly see the exact opposite. It's a welcome party. He's easily the most frustrating player to watch.

I'd love to see the stats to back this up. It's a shame you won't be able to find them. Maybe you're just getting really unlucky and only watching him when he makes bad plays.

I would love to see it as well. Our defense has took a hit ever since Len moved to the starting lineup and Tyson has been out.

Their was an article at the start of the season about who was the better rim protector.

It showed players were more likely to attack the rim with Len on the floor and less likely too with Chandler, However the stats also showed Len was the better rim protector, That was based on last season. Would like to see the stats for this year.

Went to the gcu game so I had to catch the fsn replay.
Fun game to watch, rookies got some burn and got some more lotto balls. What I expected out of the year.
I though Booker's defense was OK most of the night. Is he a good defender? No. But he bothered his offensive player most of the night. I'd like to see him try to get more fga's, we're better when he's scoring

Funny, I fell asleep as soon as the game started, kept waking up and seeing we were up until the last 5 minutes. Shocked to see us down by 10 plus.
I saw Len had 7 turnovers, but I thought he actually played well minus the boneheaded inbound plays. He got posterized and instead of backing down the rest of the game he got himself 4 blocks.
Poor rotation by Watson in the 4th. I don't understand why Bender was consistently getting open yet no one was passing him the ball.

I've said this about Len on the other thread... he doesn't adjust his thinking, he passes an in-bound ball to a team mate who he normally passes to even though he was guarded. Len doesnt analyze the changes and what the defense gives him... same with him trying to stuff the ball every time he gets a ball dropped down to him even though there is a defender next to him.... players like Gasol, Duncan would bring the ball down and walk it back out and try to reset the play or kick the ball out to someone with a better look... Len sleeps walk in-game... needs to start thinking and adjust to defenses.

Aside from maybe 3 stupid inbounds passes that became turnovers he crashed the boards and protected the paint as well as anyone could and got a few blocks.

Len did not cost us the game!

Blame Watson for some poor substitutions, really awful offensive system and players going cold at the absolute worst time.

Statistically it's pretty much the same. 104.7 DRtg in the last 9 games vs 104.6 for the season.

Somehow Bled/Knight/Book/Quese/Len posted a 93.3 DRtg in the 4 games it was used. 6.5 NetRtg.

I think hiding Book at the 3 might be a solution. We only notice his defensive issues when he gets beat for speed.

Yes, kind of strange, but maybe a lot of people out for the weekend. Also perhaps people at AZ/ASU game and also the AZ basketball team is playing Butler in a tight game.

I thought lilfishi and some others were around though. Nav is around the boards I think but I guess he doesn't watch the games (though I thought he got the reddit link and a video by Kerrsed of how to navigate through the little x's you have to close to avoid the pop ups and stuff.

And then someone pointed out last night that Once Upon A Dime was a previously banned poster so I think that poster is gone now too.

I was, and he did, but Quigglez found me another solution that will likely work better, because in our household, once 5 PM rolls around, it's 'family time', and that doesn't include basketball. It DOES include the Steelers, so I can't complain that much, but 'No Way' on the NBA, NCAAF, NCAAB, or whatever else, front. So my option is the morning after, which I'm about to watch a little now.

Oh, and I see we have a new Len hater on the board, Sch'Naw-Len'Kempoop, or something to that effect, so JDiddy has a friend. Never mind his 11 TRB or 4 Blks. And unless I missed it schnakenpopanz or JDiddy didn't mention a PEEP about our PG...you know, the guy who is SUPPOSED TO KNOW how to handle a basketball better than anyone else on the court, ALSO had 7 TOVs...NOPE...Just how terrible Alex Len is. Just amazing how two fans can have such a biased agenda against ONE player, and all the while, not bothering to bring up the GOOD things that Alex Len does like, oh, IDK, LEAD the team in BLKs (4) and also TRB...with 11, 9 of which being DRB, so no "he just got his own missed shots as rebounds" excuse.

Yep, 9 DRBs and 4 BLKs TOTALLY indicate a 'soft' player...get outta here with that junk. It's the same thing, game thread after game thread; it's all about the negative of Alex Len, as opposed to the positive he brings to the table.

And so I don't sound like a hypocrite, it was nice to see Bledsoe in double digit Assts this game; unfortunately we still lost, but it wasn't due to his increased level of assts, so I hope we continue to see more of that in the future.
