I'd put Strawberry on him.

We definitely have to do something to stop him as soon as possible, and I agree, putting DJ on him might work, should definitely be worth a try at least.

Pretty ironic that this time the opposing team's backcourt is killing us, while their frontcourt isn't scoring much...no surprise thanks to Big Ben, but still ;)

barbs takes too many shots, bell.. maybe

marion and hill both shoot OVER .500, would be ridiculous to take away shots from them

i have nothing against amare taking more shots, in fact that would be great, considering his offensive abilities.

but

1) one of the main points of d'antoni's system is that you take the best shot that is available, not follow some sort of hierarchy - ie you shoot when you are free, always make the extra pass if you see someone is open etc
changing that and introducing some sort of hierarchy would mess with the whole system in my opinion

2) steve nash, the greatest point guard in the league is running our offense. thus, i deeply believe, in most cases he makes the right choice and gets the ball to whoever is in the best position to score

so i by all means welcome amare taking more shots but only if they come naturally

What an even worse selfish a**hole, putting some random dude's completely stupid wedding over his team's interests :nonono:

in general i agree, it just seems dumb when amare tears it up for 10 minutes, then we go cold and amare doesnt touch the ball for ages

in the last few games he has had one game where he took 2 shots in 36 minutes and another where he went 4 minutes without touching the ball at all, in both games we were struggling.

we seem to freeze him out for long stretches, i would just like to see us use him more consistently

Since most of us don't get to watch it anyway I don't care as long as we win - at least it's not as frustrating as usual :)
