As a Suns fan, what are you willing to give up for Kevin Love? ( No Dragic, Bledsoe , Goodwin, or Plumlee)

What indications?

Well if you aren't willing to give up Bledsoe or Dragic, we don't have enough to get him. Even WITH those guys, you don't. Minnesota won't trade him this year anyway, and if they did, it would be for another vet to plug in at his spot, like Blake Griffin or Horford or something. They won't tear it down. They've been tearing down and rebuilding for 9 years and have a bunch of vets on the team

I think the soonest they even THINK about trading Love is next trade deadline unless they get a jaw dropping offer next summer. We don't really have the right assets to get him.

Also, if Minnesota is worried about him leaving in summer of 2015, I imagine we would be worried too, considering he likely wants to play in LA.

I don't like that roster as much as the one we have now. Len is not even playing, let alone starting. Do the deal without Plumlee and it looks closer.

The Suns just need to be patient. The right opportunity will present itself.

How do you guys feel about Larry Sanders?

He just signed an 44 million/4 years extension with the bucks. He's young, defensive minded, big for his position.

I think he'd mesh well with the two headed monster of Dragic/Bledsoe.

A lineup of

Bledsoe
Dragic
Tucker/Morris
L. Sanders/Morris
Frye/Plumlee

Honestly we need a good sf and we need Len to develop for us to contenders. I would give the Morris bros and three first rounders maybe four for Harrison Barnes. I would even throw in more
PG: Bledsoe
SG: Dragíc
SF: Barnes
PF: Frye
C: Len
This would hopefully be next year as Len is definitely not ready this year

Just putting together some rumors

what would you guys think about a 3-way trade with the Knicks and Clippers.

Suns Give: Okafor (expiring), Markieff Morris, 2014 1st Round Pick (Washington), 2014 1st Round Pick (Indiana)
Suns Get: Blake Griffin

Clippers Give: Blake Griffin, Matt Barnes, Future Pick
Clippers Get: Carmelo Anthony

Knicks Give: Carmelo Anthony
Knicks Get: Matt Barnes, Okafor (expiring), Markieff Morris, 2014 1st Round Pick (Washington), 2014 1st Round Pick (Indiana)

I think Love is out of the question. I'd give up every asset we have not including Bledsoe, Dragic, Len, and Goodwin to get him, but they would want two of those guys including all our draft picks.
Harrison Barnes is a more realistic trade target and I think he would be an ideal fit with the Suns athleticism and style of play. The Warriors simply won't be able to afford him when the time comes because Klay Thompson will need a contract extension, they might keep Bogut under a better deal too.
Anyway, I think a deal surrounding Channing Frye, Gerald Green and I might even go 3 1st round picks for Harrison Barnes. Frye and Green fit the mold for the Warriors, and they need a stretch 4.
Then during the offseason, the No 1 priority is locking up Bledsoe, but then I'd look at Greg Monroe for our PF position, and at the very worst, possibly Pau Gasol if Monroe gets snatched up. If we have any extra money I'd like to get Shawn Marion back, but I'm not sure how he'd like a sixth man role.

PG: Bledsoe/Goodwin
SG: Dragic/Tucker
SF: Barnes/Morris
PF: Monroe/Morris
C: Len/Plumlee

That's an exciting young team right there.

I'd stay far away from Pau.

He's always been soft/finesee, which isn't aging well with his declining athleticism. He's like a poor-man's 37 year old Duncan at this point. He's dropping off like a roasted marshmallow off a stick.

Any indications as to what the Warriors are trying to do with Harrison Barnes? Is he untouchable, or is he available for the right hefty price.

I wouldn't touch Monroe with a 10 foot pole. Too slow, poor defender and not enough offensive range in his game. He is also likely to be too expensive. I like Barnes, but 2 rotation players and 3 firsts is way too much.

Music to my **** ears. Seriously. Been fantasizing about Kevin Love on this team for years now. You don't win in this league without rebounding. Could you imagine Love's outlet passes to Dragic or Bledsoe on the break?! Oh mama.

I'll give up anything outside of Dragic and Bledsoe for him. We need people around him if he was to be acquired. Seriously, if the list is "no Dragic, Bledsoe, Goodwin or Plumlee" then, well, I'm fine with giving up whatever the hell is necessary.

I think two players and two picks would get it done.

All I've heard is that they are targeting Love & Hayward. That doesn't mean that Barnes name hasn't come up. Then again, you never really know.

Ray-ray has been vetted.

Just remember, with all "inside information" Just because we are looking or want to do something, doesnt mean that we actually will. The trade process is a fluid one and can change at the drop of a hat.

With that being said, im sure half the teams in the league would give up the farm for Love. Its just does the Wolves think its time to blow it up again and try to start over? I mean they lucked out once in the draft and got Love, can they get lucky again and score someone on Loves level in this draft? And do we even have the talent to get Love and keep him (without screwing our team in the long run). Do we have a good enough package to beat out other teams that want him? You can bet that if we do get into trade talks with them, they will call other teams as well and see if there is a better deal out there to be made.

Personally, i would say that Bledsoe would be a deal breaker for me. And with me taking him off my table, i dont think we have the parts for a straight trade )a 3-way might be different). Unless they plan to use Dragic as a SG, i dont see them wanting him to replace Rubio. I see people putting Plumlee in there like he is some big prize to be had, but they just re-inked Pekovic to a big contract, and he is currently twice the player that Miles is. They have no real SF, but neither do we, so we cant help them there.

Only way i see us getting Love is in some kind of 3-way trade.

Now i could definitely see us nabbing Hayward for the right price. Utah is not making the playoffs this season and will be focusing their attention towards the draft in the upcoming months. Kanter has been an utter fail for them this season and has fallen out of the starting 5, losing his spot to Marvin FREAKIN' Williams. I would approach Utah with a 3-way deal.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kbypsdz

UTH gets Jimmer/IND 1st/MIN 1st
SAC gets Tucker
PHX gets Hayward

Utah gets a fan favorite that also plays a position of need (PG) and 2 1st round picks.

Sacramento doesnt have a need for Jimmer, but definitely could use Tuckers defense and hustle coming off the bench.

We get Hayward.

Now im not a big Hayward fan, but this is something that i could see us doing. I also dont like trading Tuck, but Hayward is an improvement and you have to give to get.

Bledsoe/Dragic/Hayward/Frye/Plumlee

I've posted this a couple of times, and I think if McD is going to make a move, targeting Sanders makes sense. Milwaukee is rebuilding, and they may regret the money they gave him after the nightclub incident. I also think Milwaukee is a great landing spot for Asik, as he could start there.

Something like

Frye -> HOU
Asik +2 1st's -> MIL
Sanders -> PHX

Love is a big upgrade... But he's not athletic. I rather stay put. The reason why we're winning is because everyone on our roster is quick minus Frye. Yes, he'll be replacing Frye's position and you may think it evens out but it doesn't...

If we are ONLY giving up draft picks, do it.
If we start giving up draft picks AND players, no thanks.

We lose a couple of our players and our team can go downhill. I'm okay with Frye, Len, Tucker, and Green leaving. Everybody else has to stay. Without Morris twins, don't know if we'll have a complete team with no bench.

Being athletic is so important to our success with our system. Look at the slow players from last season. I love Love but don't get rid of the players that got us here.
