I don't think they have the space available to offer a max.

Milwaukee is the only team left rumored to want Bledsoe - but they can't even offer a max to him.

I say we offer a fair deal (Dragic makes 7.5mil, IT2 just signed for 6.5mil) - let's offer him 8mil. :D

I may be a marching band of one, but I wouldn't mind Roy Hibbert and think Pacers make a good trading partner for us. He is absolutely the best rim protecting C in the league. Pacers seem like they are very down on him, calling him mental, headcase etc. Some are calling for Pacers to trade Hibbert to free up money for Stephenson. Hibbert had a great first half last year, and a horrible second half and playoffs. However I think Hornacek and Suns organization could really get him back to his best effort.

Suns trade: Bledsoe, Plumlee
Pacers trade: Hibbert

Hibbert has only two years left on his $16 per year contract.

That is interesting that he completely left Dragic out of it..........

Hi, Paul
I accidentally asked you the same question about Alex Len twice in one of your last online chats. I didn't understand the system delay thing. Sorry!
Also, sorry bout the flack you took earlier. It wasn't really a complaint about you, but about the way some posters around here were using your reporting in our conversations.
Exciting times, huh?
Have a nice day!

Is Thomas a player I'll like? Meaning, does he flop, whine, or play like an idiot? How's his motor? Is he a punk? Did the idiocy/cancerous culture in Sacramento infect him at all?

The only word we've had around here was about Goran to the Pacers, and a little whisper about Gerald Green going somewhere else.

Whatever it is, we don't see it coming.

I don't know if they can either. Parsons' contract eats into their cap space. They would need to sign Bledsoe before the Parsons' contract is official - thus the rush to sign Bosh. Bledsoe is a RFA so, I don't think it can be done.

You do not pay about 7 million a year for a guy to be a backup when you already have two starting point guards, plus other true shooting guards. They can offer the Wolves Bledsoe, the Morris Brothers, and maybe the return of the Minnesota pick for Love, or overpay to sign Gasol. They need a proven, big time scoring frontcourt player. That is their biggest weakness right now.

I am not a fan of the dual Pg line up. It's too gimmicky.

wow you talk about not wanting to give Deng a bad contract then you talk about taking on Hibbert to play on a fast-tempo offensively-oriented team?

If they had money to max bosh they have money to max Bledsoe.
They still have over 24hrs right?

The Wolves could care less about that draft pick. Its worthless to them. If they lose Love, they will be a lotto team again, thus still covered under the protection of the pick. After next years draft it turns into 2 2nd round picks. Its garbage to them.

Still pisses me off we didn't use this pick to get Gasol from the Lakers.

Hopefully we can sign Bledsoe for 10 mil per year.

If we can do that and not pay him 15-16 mil per year we make out huge and it makes the signing of IT2 more palatable dishing out that contract.

The contract is worth it for IT2 if we plan on focusing the bench mob attack around him and his scoring ability and his ability to penetrate and open it up for scorers and shooters off the bench

Bledsoe will stare at a max. He's the last well dressed princess at the ball and there are at least two suitors (three with Phoenix) wanting to dance and cop a feel.

Dragic and Thomas does not a backcourt make.

Considering he was drafted last over all a couple years ago. I think he's earned this contract. Kings fans loved him from what I've read and is a hard worker

I don't like Hibbert. I'd be shocked if we picked him up. And Bledsoe's far more valuable. Dragic is also more valuable, IMO. And I think most teams would rather take Plumlee's contract than Hibbert's, so...???

That's what im saying. The suns can't escape a max contract with bledsoe. A decision has to be made whether trade or be stuck with the contract.
