Papagiannis, Bogdanovic, Labissiere, Hield all internationally born.
Look for Markkanen, Ntilikina at the draft.

They should consider themselves lucky (and I'm sure they will) if the pick even ended up being in the top 10 lol

Re: The Boogie Watch
Kinda hope the Kings win the lottery and have to hand their pick over to PHI and then the Pels jump to 2nd and don't convey their 2017 1st at all.
I mean their fans don't deserve it but maybe that would get Vlade canned and Vivic to sell the team. It's hard being a fan of a bad NBA team. It's so much worse when a different teams stupidity **** up your team.

Re: The Boogie Watch
How can you possibly accept a pick with protections if you are trading Cousins.
In all fairness. The Suns 2017 pick does not look that good if you are adding Cousins to this roster.

Essentially they traded Cousins to move up from pick 8 to pick 6 to select Buddy Hield.

Re: The Boogie Watch
Ok, after watching the UFC fights, i came back to this F***fest. This is what i believe:
Ray-Ray was/is 100% right. He was right with our offer and right that they didnt want to trade with us even though our deal was better. As i stated before, i know we were trying to deal with them for Cousins, and the Pelicans "Rumor" at the time was put out there for us to sweeten the deal. After going back and forth with the Suns FO, they told McD that they have a better deal on the table and for the Suns to make their best and final offer, and McD stood pat. McD knows that we would have had a great chance at re-signing Cousins due to his relationship with Bledsoe, but that still was no guarantee. He also had to factor in how pissed Cousins would be, not only with the Kings, but the team trading for him, knowing they helped in him essentially losing $40M. Thats why McD didnt sweeten the offer by replacing Knight in the deal with another player. Vlad was pissed and pretty much said "Screw you" to the Suns by accepting a much inferior offer. Maybe they still hold some hostility to McD for him swiping Chriss out from them in that horrible horrible deal.
I mean we all know our pick will be more valuable, thats a given. Warren >>>> Hield. Len >>>>>> Galloway. The only downside was Knight and his contract, so i could see in the Kings eyes Evans >>>>>>>>>> Knight.
As for the tweet about how they look at Hield as a top 5 pick player, and a #10 pick (Pelicans), LMAO. Do they seriously think that pairing up two of the most dominant all-star bigs in their prime will net them a top 10 pick???? Hell they have the #9 pick right now, and that was just with Davis! Losing Hield/Evans/Galloway and adding Cousins/Casspi isnt going to lose them more games, they will be winning games, and i fail to see how the Pelicans dont end up in the playoffs, and how the Kings dont end up with a #16-20 pick after all of this.
So in short, even though i am high (Super high) on Cousins and would have loved him on the Suns, we might have done the right thing. And another good thing to come out of all of this is that FINALLY Pelifan might have some more boardsman to talk with in his game threads!

Cousons, #8 for Reke, Galloway, #6, and 2017 1st.
Lol. What's really bad is if we pulled this off we may have had enough left to go get Butler.
2018 1st (PHX), 2018 1st (MIA), 2021 1st (MIA), Chriss, Bender for Buttler? Maybe too much but damn bled, book, butt, boog. Hot damn.

I think as a Kings fan it would almost be better if the team got sold to Seattle. I'm strangely feeling worse for them than I am upset about not having aqucired Cousins ourselves. And looking at that stinking pile of an offer they accepted I'm very upset.

If that's the case McD should be fired.

Completely forgot about that. Sam Hinkie is the **** GOAT.

We had the best offer tho (if Gambo's report was true). Unfortunately Vivek and Vlade didn't see it that way. Dumbasses.

I'm still pissed we didn't get Cousins but it's hard to fault McD because the offer we made was fair.

I know, I'm irked the kings are stubborn and awful. The kings shouldn't even be trading for picks, their draft history is terrible.
Can you imagine firing McD and hiring a vlade level gm that trades our best players for trash. Trades unprotected picks and swap rights to get out of our former lotto pick contracts.

Egos certainly are part of trade negotiations and that scenario can't be ruled out. But rather than blaming McD for not doing more to get it done, I prefer to believe Vlade, and ultimately Vivek, is just plain-old incompetent.
Also I love that Pelifan is finally getting more Pel fans to talk with.

Maybe Hinkie will write Bryan Colangelo's HOF speech like that 13 page manifesto.
