Gambo and Burns said McDonough will be on tomorrow now, they said it makes more sense obviously (claim it was before this Dragic) mess.

Lakers fans are probably the most insufferable entitled brats in sports. Along with Yank fans of course

I think the most ideal trade package comes from the Kings. If we were to get McLemore (or even Staukas) that fills the hole at SG. The Suns go even younger. McLemore reminds me of a younger J-Rich with a better jumper (needs consistency, Horny can help improve that) and with better handles. Bled-McLemore backcourt can be a nightmare in two years if they develop some cohesion. Both are super athletic, which McD loves.

Thats how im interpreting it.

1. Dragic wants to be the starting PG who initiates the offense. 2. Winning doesn't really matter, Its all about his role on the team and obviously money.

1. Correct - he's done it before and didn't the Suns do exceptionally well.
2. Total horse sh*t - you see the video of post-Houston game that's been posted a couple of times? He cares about winning; sounds like the rest of the team doesn't.

That's why he wants to go to LA or NYK?

Also, good luck Dragic controlling the offense in Houston with James Harden.

Its been said numerous times before, Thomas was signed as insurance in case Bledsoe didn't re sign. Whether you agree with it or not thats why he was signed is the belief of the majority.

You don't need insurance, most teams only have 1 good PG anyway. If Bledsoe left, whoop dee doo, we still drafted Ennis in the top 20 and he would have been backup PG.

Exactly.

What other team backs up their star player position with the team's next best player

And then go out and sign your NEXT best player playing the exact same position?

Dragic must be traded for forwards or a center. No guards.

I suspect they really wanted to keep Dragic and wanted to make it work. That's about the only think I can really fault McD for - trying too hard to keep Dragic happy when it wasn't ever going to happen. Hopefully, the Suns can get a good return back for him and we can look forward to the young guys taking the next step.

Not exactly - his problem is that we had a winning blue print for a team with Dragic at the helm and RMcD has gone and paid (Bledsoe) and recruited (IT); questionable character guys and bad team fits (the latter probably only in IT's case) who've taken over and ruined team style and chemistry.

Phrasing it like it's Dragic's primadonna fault is simply wrong and fuels the propaganda fire. Yes Dragic possibly could have handled the fallout better but it sounds like he was at it's wits end after seeking out RMcD a number of times with his concerns but nothing changed.

Again, Blame RMcD and Hornacek but this one is not on Dragic.

I'll blame who I want, TYVM.

Dragic is not a guy to build a team around, especially with all the athletic PGs in the West. He can't defend guys like Paul, Westbrook, Lillard or even Conley. Bledsoe can. He's also younger and can hold up to contact better than Goran. Did everyone forget how Dragic broke down at the end of last season? And you all think he's a guys we should give a long-term deal to? His playing style is not conducive to a long, successful playing career. He just doesn't have the physique to hold up the the beating. Better to cut bait now.

Same thing Cuban said...

Nah, just get the best deal. Id rather a good guard than an average forward.

Exactly. IT signing was good.

Can we sticky this reply? This question keeps getting asked when at the time, it was a cover our *** kind of move.

This doesn't make any **** sense, not then and not now. NO winning team does this.

Does every star signing need a 7 million dollar insurance policy? Especially when said insurance policy ruins chemistry, touches, playing time, team alpha order.

I'm torn on this. On one hand I want to get rid of the logjam of guards and get the young guys some playing time...on the other hand, the best trade packages seem to have guards as the center piece. If D-Mo is available at all however, you take him and don't look back.

We need pure shooters too. McLemore or Stauskas + first would be okay.

so most likely the Suns have trade scenarios in place already with a couple teams, just waiting for it to be closer to the deadline to see if other teams want to make a better offer. Definitely we are not gonna stand pat this deadline with everything that has been said.

I would be fine with either one as long as we also move IT.

Idk how much Reggie Jackson's availability will drive down Dragic's value on the market. As if it hasnt already reached rockbottom

Mclemore is shooting a higher percentage from 3 than dragic or bledsoe on more attempts this year.

It does, though. We got the best player we could in the free agency market. Remember we tried for a HR with Lebron and Melo.

Everyone involved should have their kneecaps broken.

What a way for fandom to die. What a way.

If we get guards back, I'm thinking another deal would be to send a few for a big to free up some PT for the young guys.
